ISEY DAUGHAN
Isey is a God fearing teenager. She became a christian at the tender age of eight. For the first time she heard the preacher speak about a man who gave up his life for her, even without knowing her. Young as she was then, she could not understand how someone could as much as lay down his own life for a stranger that she was. This new revelation was overwhelming. She felt she owed it to this man to give to him her complete devotion; and that meant cutting off all social engagements and spending most of her time communing with Jesus, the man whom the preacher had said saved her life. Her entire life schedule now revolved around this man who had saved her. He was her life now. She's labeled as a fanatic, an extremist and even a lunatic by most of her friends and by her parents. They all could not understand. But Isey knew deep down that the flame that has been kindled inside of her by this man would not be easily quenched. No matter what anybody said or did, she was ready to give up everything to show her love and commitment to him. He was more real to her now than anything. She could feel his touch, his presence and could hear his voice wherever she went. It was so intense, she could not just ignore it. She knew it, that from that day, when she was eight, and had met with Jesus, her life would never remain the same again.

EUNICE SALMON
Eunice is a book worm. She is one of the very few girls in her age group whose favorite hobby is to read books. At the very young age of four, when her mates where having tea parties and playing with their barbie dolls; Eunice could read and spell out distinctly almost any literature, writing and inscription she came across. She would read and spell out words like she was an adult and whoever cared to listen got very impressed. With an IQ above everyone else in school, she excelled in her academics and was always at the top of the class. She was every teachers' favorite student and also high school nerd. What she lacked in looks, she made up for it with her brains.
She finished high school as the most outstanding student and gained entry into one of the country's most prestigious university. Despite all these, she still felt empty. Her life was surrounded by people who felt intimidated by her success. The only place she felt safe and secure was when she was with her books.

TARA SMART
A single, intelligent, very beautiful, confident and successful young lady. A first class graduate from Wan University, she was top on the list in the labor market. With numerous employment offers from agencies and top business establishments, her life in the fabulous lane had just begun. She began working in A&A company. She met Rick Sawyer, whom she fell in love with and married. Together they move to another country where she works as a consultant. In her marriage to Rick, she becomes a mother of three wonderful children. Tara has had it rough in the past, growing up, she was abused by her father, had low self esteem, suffered from depression and was almost raped a number of times by an Uncle she was living with. Her dysfunctional childhood and upbringing becomes an inspiration to give speeches and motivational talks in high schools and colleges. She writes books and dedicates most of her spare time to impacting on the life of young ones. She opened a foundation that gave hope to the lost, abused and battered. Her speeches became popular and so did her foundation. She is known and celebrated worldwide for her works. Ten years after she graduated from college, she is fulfilling all her dreams.

Of course, these are not all the characters in the novel but these are the major three characters upon which the plot is based. The story is about how destiny brings these three women together in fulfillment of God's will, though it's unknown to them, they are catalyst to each others purpose. It's a story about faith, purpose, determination and love.

Hey there,

I'm not entirely sure how to review this as I imagine you don't really care about spelling or grammar, but I can give you my impressions....

I like Isey a lot. She has an interesting name, and a fascinating perspective on life. My one complaint about her character is that she doesn't really have anything other than Jesus in her life. I mean, maybe He is her only hobby, but she still goes to school, etc. Does she do well? Does she have a boyfriend? What do her teachers think about her passion? Does she play an instrument, have a hobby, a best friend? I'd like to hear more about her character than this one perspective of her.

Eunice seems a little too stereotypical for my tastes. She is a bookworm (aren't we all). It is true that there are few rare people who never played with dolls and had an amazing IQ, etc. But right now she's seeming like a Hermione Granger character to me, minus the love life. It's fine for her to be like this, but like Isey, she needs friends, hobbies, interests, a love-life, etc. to bring her to life to your readers.

I think Tara is my favorite of the three. I can imagine her being a very good character to bring the other two together, you could use her for emotional flashbacks to her childhood, speaking at Isey's school, or really whatever you want--she's well set up to manipulate as you will (in the good way).

I'm curious to see where this goes!

Thanks sarebear. Unfortunately, the character Isey Daughan does not have a boyfreind/crush/lover. She has no time to pursue all that. Her one and only love interest is Jesus; and yes, like every other human, she has her hobbies, which are singing in the local church, and cooking which she's renowned for by the way. Her teachers in school, though surprised at the sudden change of personality, took no action because it didn't seem to affect her academic performance at all, if anything, she was only better.
Eunice salmon is a threat to almost everyone in class, the boys seemed to be intimated by her level of intelligence, though she got involved in a relationship later in the story, which almost cost her her life, this character is basically a girl with a 0.01 social life. The novel will tell the full story...Still working on my characters though.

Isey is a rather interesting name. I'm curious what the in-story explanation for it is. That said, she does not sound like a healthy individual; quite the opposite, in fact. It might be interesting to read about her, but from a trainwreck perspective. But the fact remains that the only thing about her as a character is her obsession with Jesus, which makes her rather one-dimensional and non-dynamic as a character, which could lead to rather boring and uninteresting reading.

Eunice, on the other hand, feels more fleshed out and realistic as a character. Her loneliness is a rather believable and reasonable result of her extreme intelligence, and it's not uncommon for extremely intelligent people to lack social interaction. Of the three characters presented here, she seems the most solid and human.

Tara, with how you stacked all those positive adjectives just to describe her straight off, strikes me as having the potential to be a Mary Sue. She has everything, is everything, desirable, and the abuse she suffered in the past? Just some stage-setting to make her Sueness all the shinier, which, because it's so shiny, comes across as more than a touch improbable. Now, I'm not saying that she will be a Sue -- that will be determined in by how you write her -- but I am saying that the odds are stacked against her being just a character and not a force of universal awesome (in-book).

I am interested in how these three women will be brought together, though, and how they will play off on each other. The contrasting personalities makes for very intriguing possibilities.
