I got my tablet nearly two months ago (or was it three?) and I haven't posted any digital art yet. Hck, I haven't posted any art in quit a while.
So, without any more chit-chat, digital art.

EDIT: On my screen, the pictures are cut in half. Right click them and click 'View in new tab' if you're using Google Chrome. If you have something else...well, just open the picture. XD

These two were studies of using a black background and bright colors (mainly red and green). Obviously something that bright in a dark place must be radioactive, so...yeah. Radioactive pools and liquids. :P

This shows how bad my digital skill really is compared to my paper-art skill. XD

These are illustrations for Icy's story. ;)

So, yeah. Enjoy! :D

These are pretty cool =] I really liked the tree monster guy chasing that one guy. I think the first one is definitely a lot better. But the guy running away in the second one is really nice too =] These are all pretty neat. I'm not good at digital art so I don't really have too much else to say. =]

JARTIIEEEEE!

I LOFF these, really honestly I do. I have word for these awesome sausome pictures and that is: FUNK.

These pictures, all of them, just scream FUNK to me and I reallt think you captured the whole digital art idea. I personally, haven't seen a lot of digital art so these really wowed me. I especially loved the last one's, with the little guy being sucked into the glass bottle. His facial expression was so perfect, and well done I could've sworn I squirmed when I looked at him.

You're radioactive liguid one was also cool. You really captured those eyes on the cat thing. Is it a cat? Anyway, I liked the way it looked in the distant and that even though the eyes were so vibrant and clear, the body wasn't yet visible.

Theone with the tree was my least favorite. It didn't have the FUNK I was looking for and loving in those previous two. It was, being horrible here, almost childish and unprofessional like everything else you do. So I was a bit disappointed in this one, Jartie. Athough, it was decent. Just not amazing and WOW like the other one's you did.

Good job and I really clap you on the back with this. They might just be my favorite out of all the work you've posted here. I wish I could 'like' this a bit more often then once ... :(

Hope I see more of this stuff soon,
Kagi xox

Those pictures made me become a fan of digital art! I don't know much about that sort of art so I would just give my opinion without too much criticism.

Picture 1 & 2: Those two are my top favourite. I like the 'radioactivity' theme. The cave with those spooky reddish eyes and the dark background.. stunning!

Picture 3 & 4: I like the concept, the tree trunk or I don't what exactly it is chasing the guy. The man's face, however, doesn't have the correct expressions that would make him look afraid. The paper-art version is much better than the digital art version for it has more details and more colourful.

Picture 5 & 6: I like that cute-looking fairy but you need to work more on the broom stick and give it a colour different from the background.

Overall, those photos are pretty enjoyable to look at. You're talented in digital, keep practicing :D

Wow, I love digital art. I have no idea how you do it but I still love them :)

Number one and two I love, it darks but I really liked the red eyes!

Number three and four, is really good and but I prefer I first tree to the second as the colours are not at dark for the bark of the tree...If that makes sense.

The last two are my favourite out of the whole lot, the colours go really well together and I love the little fairy thing XD
Overall these are all great I wish I could do digital art like that :(
Anyways sorry I didn’t help much but good job and keep it up

Thanks for the comments and advice guys!

@Kagi I had trouble with the trees, and yes, I liked the real version more than the digital one. I guess I haven't reached a stage where my digiart is level with my paper-art. :D
Thanks for your explosive compliments! ;)
Oh, and the fairy is getting knocked out of the bottle, not sucked in

@Starlight Thanks! I worked forever on his expression (I'm horrible at drawing people) but it never looked good enough. Also, the broom handle was supposed to be kinda half-lit from the light from the fairy, but I guess I made it too dark.

@Chelsea I know what you mean about the color of the bark. I really hated that picture when I was done. Maybe I'll go over it again later. XD

Once again, Thanks!

Hey! I'm so glad I came across this x) I was really excited to see some of your digital stuff :D

My favorites have to be the glow in the dark ones. The first pic looks like an outline of a really great idea. I would really love to see you pick this one up again when you're more comfortable with your tablet and finish it :)

The second pic, I LOVE the outlining of the bottle for some reason. And how you colored the liquid inside of it. For some reason I was staring at this one for a long time ^_^

I know you realize there are flaws in the angry tree pictures, but I just thought I'd say that I actually prefer the way you colored the man in the digital version. It kinda has a washed out feel to it that I like, where the first one looks like it was colored with crayons. Oh, and I don't really know what's going on with the tree's 'feet'. Like, if the foot in front is lifted up, and that's a front toe sticking up, or if that's a really disjointed kneecap. So the legs were really confusing to me, and probably the most distracting thing in this pic.

The fairies are really cute ^_^ I love the expressions you gave it in both pics. I think the second pic is better because it is much cleaner, and the bottle is drawn nicely. I didn't even see the broom in the first pic until the last moment, and I didn't quite get if all those lines coming off the fairie were those comical 'stinky' lines (you know, when a character smells bad or something xP) or what.

Overall I love these because they are so original ^_^ Keep practicing with your tablet, I only got better through lots of fooling around and experimenting x)
