My Caterpillar and more

So today, when I was sleeping, my mother was telling me "Quick! Get the camera, there's a caterpillar on this leaf!" from downstairs. And then I was like "Mmkay.", I can barely talk after I've just waken up, I literally would need a microphone. So I got my camera and took a photo of the caterpillar, I named it Joe because it looks hairy and Joe sounds like a person from the 1960's, and because middle-aged guys have gray hair and all. Cool story bro.



I love onion springs, they're pretty tasty when they spice some dull dishes. My mom grew some on our lawn and she would chop them to small pieces for a tasty Congee (It's an Asian delicacy).



Here's my lamp, it's beside my bed, there's always a book beside me when I'm sleeping, hence the silhouette. So when I can't sleep, I can always read the book and get bored, then go to sleep.



Some good reviews would be greatly appreciated, positive or negative criticisms are warmly welcomed and this'll help me to strive harder on my photography.

Ah, these are lovely. The texture of the caterpillar and the lighting in these pictures is beautiful. Really well done =]

1)The caterpillar is lovely taken
But I think you shouldn't have put effects on it because editing it, would totally spoil nature's beauty. >.< You could have put in a little saturation That would have looked brighter XD

2) The Onion picture Lol.
Now that's the best I loved. I find no mistake in it. It green and the soil looks really brown. No color changes and I'm really Happy Well Done! ^^

3) The lamp.
Now, about that picture. I sort of got annoyed with it. Because if there was a book, it should have been seen instead of the corner of the book which looks black. I mean at least some color of the book. I'm so sorry if I sound harsh :S The thing is the lamps pretty clear and seen but I think since you mentioned a book (maybe it was to clear our doubts) but it should have seen though Now, the lamp table looks like it has a Black corner or that part of it was broken.

These are the mistakes but I think you're going to be an amazing photographer ! xD
You just have the talents in you're hands!

these pictures are really nice! the lighting really captures the texture of the catapillar! i really liked them!

Everything looks so peaceful here. I love the caterpillar. It looks so fuzzy and cute. Just adorable. (Although I don't really like insects. This is the first time I've ever called a caterpiller cute.) Thanks to your photography, of course.
The second one is also very clear. It makes me feel like maybe someone is going to water them any second.
The third picture, however, looks quite mysterious. It's the one I love the most. You took pictures like a professional. Do post more pictures soon!

Wow, I really love this. The lighting is very beautifully done and the colors are gorgeous without being too overwhelming. Very nice job!

I love these. You can really see the detail in the cute little caterpillar in the first one. I do have to say, the watermark detracts from the image. I would suggest moving it maybe to a bottom corner. The second one is my favorite, the colors really pop in the light you've got. Good job

I love your work and to be honest, these didn't WOW me like your other pieces did/do. The one that I felt was the best out of all of them was the caterpillar one and the worst; was the lampshade one.

The one with the lamp in it was really boring and I found it hard to see the beauty in the picture at all. I'd have liked maybe so interesting editing or something, you know, some little thing that will bring it to life a bit more. Right now, It's dead to me.

The one with the onion springs was well taken but a little un-interesting. It's one I think I'd see on a postcard or something for farming, or an a website advertising fresh veg. It's well taken but, not eye-candy like your usual stuff.

The caterpiller one was quite good. It's very clear and I enjoyed the old time feel to it.

Overall, these were good but no great like your other work.
