This is a humorous poem.
Emotions obliterate,
Love makes raw your necessary hate,
Fear’s created in your brain,
If anything, it is your bane
Pain deludes the mind,
Takes your defenses down,
It tortures and it blinds,
On pleasure it does frown
Why are you so dreary,
Pale in excess,
Vanity’s your query,
“Looks” are your “success”
Tame the prideful flairs,
The conscience-raids of guilt,
For Peace is just like stairs,
At home, it is built
When sorrow comes in bouts,
Tomorrow’s on its way,
Tomorrow routs it out,
But with Tomorrow comes Today
So feel the dirge of sympathy,
For those whose life is worse,
Care more for what they plea,
Before ranting about yours
And also have a pity,
For those with burdens trite,
Know that they are wimpy,
Because they’ve never had a fight
