Butterfly, flutter by,
Wings flapping against the wind,
Soft and yet so delicate,
Patterns and Colors,
Patterns and Colors.

She-wolf, stalk by,
Protecting her young at all times,
Patchy and yet so rough,
Patterns and Colors,
Patterns and Colors.

Human being, walk by,
Carry purses, carry knives,
Clothed and skinned,
Patterns and Colors,
Patterns and Colors.

Wow. WOW. I am so envious of you. This was a great poem. I loved it. Usually I don't approve of short poems because you can never seem to get enough information in it. I still think your poem could have lasted a few more paragraphs, but you actually managed to get your point across in just three. I was very impressed. I loved the 'butterfly, flutter by' start, even if it did leave me tongue tied :P
You seem to have had some good inspiration for this poem as the idea was quite clear to me. You appear to take great advantage of your muse. Please keep writing :)

I loved reading your poem, it's beautiful and very poetic!!

Butterfly, flutter by,
Wings flapping against the wind,
Softy and yet so delicate,
Patterns and Colors,
Patterns and Colors.

I loved reading this part. Your poem was very much like ice. It was cold and delicate on your tongue, you try to balance the words instead of crunching on them or swallowing them whole. And when you are finished , your numb. I was, I was like wow, really? Who could write this, you pulled off your topic good, and your poem stayed with the title!! Keep writing

This poem was beautiful, but in a different way than a lot of poems I've read. When I first started reading it, I thought it might be a poem that was a little too perfect, a little too light, for my taste, but as I continued to read it, it drew me in. I like the rhythm of this poem. I don't have anything to criticize. It was awesome!

I thought how you constructed the poem was cool I've never seen one structured like that. I also like the simplicity of it .The only thing that i thought was wierd was the refrain why did you put patterns and colors down instead of something more relateable. However what I thought was cool was how the poem goes:

Person/Animal/ verb by
What it does or has
feeling of it
refrain
refrain

anyway for a short poem it said alot and was very well written please write some more poems I thought this one was great
