This is a technique that always works for me; upload it to Google Pics (Picasa Web Album), click on it there until you get it as one large picture, copy picture location, and place it in between the proper coding; [img]copiedimagelocation[/img]

Oh my. Better than fiddling with them pesky attachment thingys, just use BBCode to attach the picture from an external server. I use Photobucket, which provides the code if you need it and even copies it into your clipboard for you, how nice of them. I don't think Photobucket costs anything, not for the basic account. You can also do basic editing on your pictures from there, like adjusting contrast and things like that.
