Sweaty palms, shivering arms, goosebumps: all that's felt
Stomach trying to knot itself, lungs trying to collapse,
The little, vital object: the heart
has given up it's aim-
'Beat no more, let the child go.'
The mind screams :
'This isn't end of game'

159 candidates, 159 lives-
all down on the rail
In synchrony, their minds chant-
'What if it goes wrong today?'
1 page, 4 letters-
change their lives,
each in a different way.
They all forget, that at the end
'They aren't alone in this place.'

On the same boat, on the same thought
another thousand remain
How 75 minutes of their past
now resound vaguely incandescent.

'Should just a few hours in a stuffy exam hall
change the course of our lives?
Should just these events change us
and how we live our lives?'
And so many other thoughts revolve.
Oh, the golden moment arrives,
The woman, wasn't she the teacher?,
enters with her folders stacked high.

'Oh, God, dear God,
I promise..'
They all do the same,
after the results are given out
how many still pray to God's name?

Hey, this poem is like writing down my EXACT thoughts (especially the last few lines about 'Oh God...') before my exams! Cool poem. Yeah, I see a picture now (mostly because I'm imagining the Manarat Hall). Really nice peom! Keep up the great work! I just wanted to be the first to review your work :P :D

That is my favorite part keep up the goods. I don't know why I say that to everyone keep up the goods it sounds a little weird but I will follow you. I think I will write something new one here but I don't know yet. My friends tell me I have missed give your friends a present day or something like that. Well then good bye
