On a day of utmost peace and happiness,

A rose bush shall appear where His Tree once stood.

It shall bear two of the most beautiful flowers one has ever seen

Yet they are two of the most deadliest.

That night a tempist shall roar

Bringing destruction and terror with her,

And two sisters shall be born.

One shall use her thorns for evil

One shall save us all.
May all your bacon BURN! ~Calcifer "Howl's Moving Castle"

Woahh, this was pretty eery feeling. You set a really nice scene for the readers, let us know exactly whats happening without it sounding like you were giving us instructions. If that makes sense.

This made me want to read more and I could see the sisters in my head, even though you didn't give us a physical description. You just made it possible too see what they looked like based on what they are to do for the world. I really liked this piece. it was short. Sweet. And to the point. I'm trying to find something I would change... but I don't see anything. We have all of the information we need. The who. The what. The when. The where. A bit iffy on the why, but that just makes it all the more mysterious. Very well done =]

Amazing poem! Great story told, I love how in these few lines you managed to involve so many factors.. god, good, evil, life and death! Just Brilliant! All though, if to say something, I think this poem has a better fit in "Narrative Poetry" seeing as it seems more like a story than.. well, you get it :)

Nice job anyhows and I'm looking forward to reading more of your works!

Good Luck & Keep Writing

"Some say the world will end in fire;
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice." - Robert Frost

Simple, short. Good enough in my opinion. I wish it were a little more specific - it is VERY broad, and quite random in my opinion. I don't really see the message behind this. Unless this is part of a yet to come story-line - then you've got a nice buildup - hmm, that would be something, wouldn't it! :)
