So, this is the writing site I've been looking for forever. My name is Alex. I am 13. Currently I am writing about a boy who is a Runes sorcerer and is The One to defeat Kyron, an evil man/dragon that plans to use the boy's race to take over the planet. So that is my main story. I also write side stories, which usually get mingled in with my main one, but whatever. I just love to write and I write a little bit of everything.
So yeah, that's me. I hope I get to get close to every one of you. I'm so glad to meet fellow writers! Quick question though, where can I post a piece of my writing?

Welcome to the great world of YWS.

Where the street lamps glow green, and the cows and geese come in many numbers. Why do we have cows and geese you may ask? Well we're not really a writing site, we're actually a barnyard. Yep, I just gave away our most giantest secret and I hope that didn't come as a shock to you. Do you remember seeing that cow when you first signed up? Yep, that's our greeting cow, he comes and goes, doesn't like to say in the one place at the one time. I call him Mary, some call him Fred...

Anyways, let's pull back the reins; I was lying, first of all. And secondly to post a story (I'll answer you question, now) you scroll up to the header (in other words that black strip with the words YWS, BLOGS, CLUBS and yadda yadda in it), and then you move your mouse directly across to SUBMIT. Then, you press that and choose which genre your piece of writing is and post. Following the prompts, of course. That's all it is to it. I hope that helps.

My name is Apple by the way. I hope you've enjoyed YWS for the short period of time you've been on it. We're an interesting group, trust me. You'll be glued to your screen for hours on end, and you won't even notice the time ticking away. It's pretty scary if you think about it but it happens all the time to me. Everything may seem hard and overwhelming at the beginning but you'll get the hang of it all; it's like taking candy from a baby. Not that you should do that, that's very wrong!

So, if you ever have anymore questions don't be afraid to ask me. You'll fit straight in and every member on YWS will help make sure of that. Now that I think about YWS seems like a pirate ship. Makes the pirate smilies come in handy then.

Olá Alex! I hope that you're enjoying your time here on YWS cause it's the best EVER! Its a really good site to help you improve your writing so if you picked a good place to be. People are usually good to review you work and give you good advice.

I think I'm nice, but I'm not very sure.
I'm the weird one who likes finding people from other places and talking to them - a lot - it's weird, but I find out more that way. Xenophilia? Maybe.

Your story sounds interesting. :3 And I see you've already had some fun here! Well, include me too, I'm a bit of a newbie but I know the ropes... I think...

The people here are nice, almost creepily nice, but nice nonetheless. And they will support you with their advice when it comes to writing. My reviews are less nitpicking and more opinions, which usually entails a lot of rambling. Compliments are due, of course, i feel genuine admiration for everybody who sums up the courage to put their work in the world's eye and lets it be scrutinized.

So kudos to you, and the very best of luck!

They don't seem to hire that many boys... oh, never mind. This place is great for sharing your work or just socializing. Remember, though- reviewing and greeting get you points towards literary posts. I think it's currently 100 points per work.
