I drew this for a contest held by http://ulalasch5.deviantart.com/
So Len is one of my favorite characters, namely Append Len, so I drew him.
He's got too many details :(

***And for those who don't know him, this IS his normal outfit.

But it turned out like I had envisioned, and that rarely happens for me :D

It took me about 2 hours from start to finish, and I drew it with a mechanical pencil and shaded with 4H 6H and 8B sketching pencils.

This is great! I didn't know artists could do stuff on this website! But really, good job. I wish I knew a guy who wore this everyday;) I like that you drew it with a mechanical pencil. Some people think its stupid, but great things can be done with those freegin things. The expression of said "Len" is funny. He's like "I'm pretty damn cool, and I know I am, so ha ha ha for you." Also, I like that he has headphones on instead of earbuds. yay for the nineties!

Your drawing is absolutely great! I loved it. However I have a few comments on your drawing.
Since I don't know much about your character you've drawn here, I googled some images first so that my points would be valid.
1) The face and the headphones are very well drawn. Well done with that! However, I dislike Len's nose, it looks too big, I think. His chin also seemed to be too small in your drawing while Len's chin is looking pointed. Try to fix that.
2) When I looked at the hair, I have found some small hairs on the right side which look scattered. So, I looked at some images of your character and found that it is not similarly drawn to yours. Take a look at this picture, you'd know what I mean http://images.wikia.com/vocaloid/images ... Append.png
3) Using a light pencil, try to do some light shades on his shirt.

Hope that might helped. But overall, you did a fantastic job!

Thank you all for your kind comments :D

@Starlight9
Don't worry, I was drawing him in my own style, not accurately XD.

Hey Shiney. So sorry I am super late with this review. To make it up I'm going to give you two extra reviews on anything you want and 300 points. Firstly, I'd like to say I love your character and you're great at drawing. Now onto on the nitpicks. By the way I apologize if this review is redundant and not very helpful. I usually don't review artwork, so this is my art review.

Okay the first thing I noticed that some of his hair covering his forehead goes through his eyebrow. So you might want to fix that.

Also, I noticed that is nose is large and compared to his nose, his chin is too small. It makes his face look sharper.

Lastly, I noticed that you shaded his pants, but not his shirt. It makes the picture look unfinished. Especially after you did a good job shading his pants.

Overall: I love this picture. You did a great job with the whole drawing, especially with the hair, shading, headphones, and Len's expression. I love his expression, like he's really into the music. And it's impressive that you drew this picture with a mechanical pencil. Despite what people, they can be pretty useful. That's all I have to say. I hope I helped and I hope you share more of your art with us.
