Attention please!

Wednesday 20/10/10

Are You there?
Are You listening?
What I am going to tell You is of great importance!

You need to listen!
Are You ready?

Ok, here we go:

In the beginning You were light and matter.
You exploded as that light and matter.
Inside a dark womb called space.
You reached far and wide, being that light and matter.
You expanded and stretched, twisted and turned.
You expressed your life through creating stars and planets.
You created the wind and the water.
You created the earth and the fire.
So the wind, the water, the earth and the fire.
Are all expressions of You.
You created mammals, fish, mermaids and monsters.
You created fantasy and mind and emotions and hearts.
Anger, hatred, sadness, joy, love, peace, frustration and redemption
are all a part of You.
You created creation and therefore also created destruction.
I am not just a creation by You.
I am also an expression of You.
I am You,
and You are me.
And so it will be.
For Eternity.

And yes, I'm talking to You.
For the rest of my life I want to reflect on what light is.

Very inspirational, heartwarming and sensitive. I loved every line of it. Especially the very last line, where I feel you are addressing me personally. It's people like you which have motivated me to write my story (chapter one's up). I can't wait to see what you do next.

I think the word "You" is a little over-used but I suppose that's the style you've chosen... good job.
Cowards use swords, writers use pencils.

You are now following this YWSer

A Wiser? Yiser? Whysir? How on earth do you pronounce that? Y W S er? Can't I just follow a society member? =S

I loved this, it was well written, and I enjoyed every line, as well as the message. Grammar wise, I have no nitpicking to do, because it was well written! Keep writing, this was good.
Society teats each of us like an always burning candlestick. We reject immediate deformities, and throw ourselves away when we've lost our flame. Then we clean away any evidence of the wax...

Is this a rant towards God? It feels like that to me. Though it could also be a character talking to an author. I liked it. There isn't much else to say because it wasn't really a short story or anything. I feel it would be best as spoken word or some type of poetry. I wish I could hear you say this outloud in the tone you meant it to be. It'll be up to my imagination for now.
If words are just letters put together, why do we decide on what they mean?

I step away from the grammar to review the story.

I don't do poetry.
