So, when I get bored- I draw dragons. xD As this post has quite a few pictures, I'm putting them in spoilers for your convenience. XD

This first one is just a pencil drawing I did one day- so sorry for the photo quality. The scrawled note says "I eat your soul", which is supposed to be... humorous, I guess.

Someone asked me to draw them being eaten by a dragon. I obliged.

It's....a griffon with parrot colouring? >.>

My flatmate told me to draw a dragon with a monocle. So I did. When I asked what colour he should be, he said "all of them." So...

This guy didn't turn out exactly as I wanted- he looks too emo, or something.

And finally, my dnd character!

I guess I'll stop dumping my drawings now! Comments on any are greatly appreciated- I keep asking my flatmates for feedback on what I need to improve, but they are not artistically inclined, so they aren't much help. =P

hey nutty! Your drawings are marvelous!! :O Good job :smt041
I loved all of them. Here are some comments I have for each of your drawing:
# 1 : This is my top favourite. It is just PERFECT. I love the dragon face and its eyes just gives a since of fear to any one looking at it. As for the sentence you have mentioned, I see it kinda not matching that serious looking dragon. If you're seeking humour, you add this sentence to a cartoon looking dragon. In my opinion I just want to see fear & danger from your very well drawn dragon.
# 2: Again that one rocks! If you don't mind telling, what type of colors did you use in that painting? It would be great also if you added 'more' details to the dragon wings.
# 3: I like this one too but try to remove those extra lines after drawing. I don't know how to explain that well, but it seems that you're that type of an artist who likes to emphasis the drawing by making too many lines and then forgetting to erase them.
# 4: I like the elegance coming from this character and the colors are wonderful. However, I don't like the stick, not straight enough. I think you may have used a very thick pen or a thick brush for this drawing which makes some colors coming outside the drawing ( take a look at the tail ) and also the stick looks thicker at the base and thin at some parts - not a straight stick.
# 5 & 6: You are so good in drawing human beings. I loved both equally.

D= I didn't mean to make anyone unconscious!

Starlight- you're quite right, I almost always sketch a lot of lines and do the colouring later, leaving the lines on the top layer. However, you're quite right in the fact that my griffon has more than normal >.<' I should go clean him up ^^'

As to the colours and the pens I've been using? All artrage, I'm afraid. It's a drawing program I have that is based off traditional media, so you have chalk and paints and ink pens rather than your normal digital media tools. It's about the only art program I use at the moment ^^" (haven't figured out Gimp yet >.>)

thank you all for the comments and likes!

I really like the monocle dragon. It’s very bright, the colors are very vivid, and creative the way that you drew it. It’s also pretty hilarious to be honest. But in a good way. It looks like it could be something trying to be a dragon Sherlock Holmes. Got to resist the urge to do the accent…failing miserably. :D As to the others, my next favorite would have to be the first dragon. It’s pretty epic and reminds me a little of Christopher Paolini’s Saphira. Very well done. I love the way that it just looks.
Lastly, I really like the angel guy. He appeals to me, though I’m a bit turned off by the emo-ness. I feel he’s just going to kick a rock and complain about his life. I like how you give the wings a depth with the shading and colors too.
Over all, I like it

When people ask me, why are you so weird, I never know what to say. Then I think, why should I be like this when I can be like ttthhhiiiisss?
