Writing poems are simple.
Rhyming words, and clever metaphors
only take a bit of time.

Painting pictures is easy.
Blending colours, and small details
done with a swift hand

Playing soccer is a breeze.
Running and kicking a ball,
what we learned when we were two.

Dancing dances is effortless.
Jumping, and spins,
straightforward steps take but a moment.

Everything is easy,
If you look from an angle.
It takes true masters,
to make a simple thing complicated
and yet,
so simple.

I think you should switch the title with the description.

Rhyming words, and clever metaphors

Painting pictures is easy:
Blending colours, and small details (I took out a period here...)
done with a swift hand.

Running (I took out a comma here) and kicking a ball,

Very cool poem! I love the idea and it all flows very well.

Apart from the little mistakes I pointed out above I think you did very well. I actually really like the simplicity of it :D

Wonderful job

Hi. I really like this poem. The simplicity of the style matches the subject so well.
One thing, in the first lines of the first two stanzas, wouldn't the verb be "is" rather than "are"? 'Are' would work if the first words were adjectives instead of verbs.
I'm not exactly sure though...
Anyway, this is a very original idea executed well. Thanks for writing and sharing. :)

The poem is a simple as the content suggests and I applaud you for that! I once read a poem called Simple that was at least three pages long...yeah, that was a downer. But I love this! I agree when you said that everything is simple when you look from a angle. People overcomplicate things far, in life and in writing. Simplicity is one of the greatest and least used techniques of writing. How sad...

Anyway love it!

I like the poem! The title is kind of.....off a bit. But the poem is fantastic, and very, as you say, simple, but in a good way!It flows well. I like the last stanza the best!
