Since I'm quite new here, I decided that along with my writing, I'd share some of my photographs also. I'd appreciate all and any type of feedback, thank you!

Those are REALLY good. I really liked the first, the third, and the fourth in particular. They all looked kind of magical. The limited view in the third is really cool and kind of makes it stand out in the set.

I quite like these! They all seemed sort of... unique. Yet you see some like the first quite a bit. These were wonderful. Thanks for sharing. I do have to say, though, I think on 2 of them the focus was a little off.

All of them looked really professional, and I didn't want to stop looking at them; especially the castle one. I would have to agree that they look very magical, and I would ask you to never stop doing it. You've got a talent, and you shouldn't stop improving it! Keep taking those snapshots!

These are really lovely. Your subject matter is fantastic and all of your angles are really refreshing. All of the quadrants have a lot going on too, which makes them really interesting to look at.

The first one is probably one of my favorites. Its just such a pretty scene to look at and every time you look at it you can see something else that you hadn't seen before. Like the people clear in the back.

The second one is my least favorite I think. It's not bad, but its not as eye catching as the others. The colors are really cool but there isn't much going on on the left side. You have this really pretty bit of land coming out on the right, and nothing on the left. So it makes the land on the right distracting. But like I said, reaaaally pretty colors =]

The third one is beautiful. I think the focuses of all of the different layers of objects is really cool. You have the barbed wire along the bottom, which adds a lot of edginess, and then you have the twigs and tails. Which are both supple and strong, very nice =] The colors are just phenomenal too.

The forth one has such a brilliant angle that it might possibly be my favorite. The blue is a really brilliant hue and the angle is so eye catching that I don't think I could ever get tired of looking at it. =] And at the same time you have the really subtle yellows and reds on the trees. When I first looked at it, it looks like the world in just a quick glimpse. This one is really nice. =]

The fifth one, once again, has a really nice angle and the contrast between the lights and the window and the darkness on the rocks is brilliant. It makes the whole picture. What I would have liked to see in this one was a bit of photo editing in the sky, maybe change the hue to make the rest of the colors pop even more.

And the last one is just beautiful. The colors, the subject matter, the lighting, all of it is just spectacular.

I'm stunned. Literally. These have got to be some of the best photos I've seen on here recently. o_O I can't stop looking at them. The images seem to just flow into your eyes. Well done!

1. Beautiful. My eye just hops from tree to tree until I am looking at the people in the background. This whole collection of pictures shows that you have a really, really nice eye for composition. The photo has a really nice, tranquil mood to it as well. I have very little to say about this picture that others haven't said. Fantastic work, m'dear!

2. Another fantastic one. (Are you sensing a pattern yet? ) You really captured a gorgeous moment here. The water is picking up colors from the sky, and the little bit of land on the side of the photo is almost caught in complete sillouette, but there still was enough light to get texture from it. The one critique I would say about this photo is entirely out of your control. The strip of land in the distance is a bit distracting to me. Maybe because the white buildings are in such contrast to the photo's other colors, or maybe not: I'm not quite sure what it is that bothers me. But - still - this is a wonderful picture. I commend you for being about to capture a sunset picture without falling into the cliche. Yey!

3. This one is my favorite, hands down. Just beautiful. I really can't think of anything constructive to say about it, because every time I glance at it I can only stare and wish I had that type of talent. Um, so, yes. Moving on.

4. Least favorite, only because I'm not partial to fish-eye lenses. I think what you tried to accomplish with this photo you accomplished well, but I just don't care for the distorted-y-ness of fish-eyes. But you have sunspots on the picture, which also makes me happy.

5. Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hoggy-warty Hogwarts - Ahem. Sorry. This is a wonderful view of the castle, really! Looks like something out of the movies. Really, really nicely done. You got this after they turned the lights on, and the building looks so warm! I can just imagine all the students settling down for dinner right about then. XD

6. So, I'm going to be really, really blunt here. Sorry in advance.

Seriously adorable, here. I fail at taking photos of people, most especially candid shots. I can do nothing but blubber about the picture's colors and details and atmosphere and - But I won't, because I'm sure it would get pretty dull to read, very fast.

ANYWAYS - You have talent. Lots of it, too. You should really get back into taking these, if you haven't in a while. I have two quick questions before I go - 1) What kind of camera were you using? The clarity is fantastic, as well as the colors! 2) Did you do any editing to these besides basic cropping, etc? With what program?

These are super-duper fantastic. Keep up with this, m'dear!

Pretty photographs. Could you make the captions even smaller, though? I think I can still read it if I squint really hard and push the screen against my face.

Wow, these pictures are very enchanting to me! The last picture, the christmas photo, gave me a warm and casual feeling, considering that the lights on the tree were very enchanting and the happy children in the corner. I like them a lot! I especially like the first and fifth pictures! They gave me such a wonderful feeling! Awesome job and keep up the good work!

Thank you all so much! Ghee, in all honesty this means a lot! I was never confident in my work at all, because it seems anyone with a camera these days is a photographer... Or at least where I live..
But I appreciate all the nice things you said! Even the constructive critisism, I took it all in, and I'll work to fix up a few things in some of the newer photos I plan on taking in the future!

1. In all the pictures I posted, I'm using a Nikon D3000 DSLR camera. I saved up at least 4 months of paychecks to buy it, it's one of my best investments! Even though now Nikon has produced an even better camera, with a higher megapixle count, a video setting, and more settings/benefits. Poo.. But I think I'm getting new lenses soon, so I'm excited!

2. I try to not overly touch up my photos. I prefer the natural colors of the pictures I take, but sometimes they're just night bright or vivid enough. I've used many different editing systems... Photoshop Elements, Photofiltre, and even Picnik! But when I do edit my photos, I normally touch up the contrast, sharpness, shaddows and highlights. Sometimes I'll edit the saturation, to make the colors pop, but that's rarely.

These are beautiful! The sixth third and fourth are all my favorite. I love how simply and beautiful the sixth photo is. You did a good job of capturing a simple moment, but capturing it well and getting an emotion across. The soft warm lighting also makes it work. The colors in the third one are lovely and where your focus was and how sharp it is only adds to this picture. Great capture. And of course the first one, because of the quality, the interesting scenery and the lights all make it quite VISUALLY PLEASING. The second one just seems a little lacking contrast and a little plain, like I have seen it too many times before, I like how you centered it though. The hogwarts shot is beautiful but again, I've seem a couple like it before so it didn't quite make it into my favorites. And the fisheye tree shot is very interesting. Would you mind if I asked what type of camera you have and what lens you were using?

I think they're all quite beautiful to be honest. Some of these photos are honestly stunning.

Hello! I love photography and evidently you have a talent for it. Of course, there's always room for improvement, so I do have a few things to say.

1) This is really beautiful. I love the bokeh with the lights and the way the trees lead your eye down the street. I don't know if you intended to have those little shadowy people standing around in the background, but they add a lot of interest to this photograph. The only thing I don't like here is how that big tree in the left of the foreground is so out of focus. It's the first place my eyes jumped to, but it's so blurry. Perhaps crop it out?
2) I really like this one. Nice use of the rule of thirds and I think the muted colors really work nicely hear.
3) Oh this is stunning. Lovely colors.
4) Interesting composition and I like that bit of lens flair. I just wish that the actual subject of this was a bit more interesting. I'm not a fan of trees in a fish-eye. It just seems a bit boring compared to your other photos.
5) This is nice. I like how it showcases both the natural rock as well as the architecture. The low angle also adds interest to this and the lights give a nice sense of warmth.
6) I think this is a really cute and endearing shot, but for me, there's simply too much going on here. There's no clear area to focus on, which makes my eyes sort of spaz out and go "What??" I think you should have focused either on the tree or on the children in the background. Not to say that this is a bad shot; just not your best.

So I'm just a little jealous of your talent. Also, I wanted to get the Nikon D3000! But I ended up getting the Canon T1i instead and I'm very pleased with it. What sorts of lenses do you use? I'm looking to expand my collection, but I'm not really an expert at which lenses are good for what... Anywho, I think I'll go check out your flickr now! Hope to see more of your work around here.
