I wrote this up.... It is a little different.... And I don't actually know if it is any good. In any case tear it to pieces. As an added bonus, you could find out her name if you really read carefully.... :D Oh, and it is only 4 years, just FYI.

Gaged Love

So many different choices,
so many ways to walk.
I’m in this state of confusion,
now just let me talk.

I want to stick with one,
but I’m telling you, it’s hard.
The one I want, I can’t.
And it’s tearing me apart.

So let me use this poem,
to describe to you a girl.
Another one I’m thinking of,
another pure white pearl.

=======================

Mature, yet rather young.
Inquisitive and unique.
Knowledge that compares to none;
At least not for her age.
Every little detail, that
Lives inside her life;
Allows for me, a shout of
Glee, that I can not describe.
A happy soul, set out for
Good. She brightens lives with
Every smile, every joke, and cry.

The only question for the world,
is whether age decides.
The lives of me, and the girl I like,
But I won’t let them decide.

I want to drop that G from AGE,
Change that four letter word,
To her maiden name,
after marriage.

Cute poem. I wish you hadn't broken it up into so many different thoughts and subjects. But I'm sure Mikaela Gage would like it. I found it to be pretty cliche and boring most of the time, to be honest with you, which IS what you insisted. The best part was that it lacked technical mistakes. I think if you took the poem apart, and focused on the theme of age, it could bear fruit. Good luck, don't be discourage, love poems are hard.

I’m in this state of confusion,
now just let me talk.You rhyme walk and talk and nothing else in this part of the poem rhymes, it's odd. Threw me off.

I like the poem. It's sweet, but I have to say this. It gave me the feeling your 40 years old crushing on a 13 year old . Sorry just you go on and on about how young she is. I get how age in this day limits love since I personally experiences it everyday, your poem was relatable to me. Some of your lines you need to play around with the words. If you have any questions PM me !

I love this poem, its amazing the imagery and the passion your poem. And the delicate way in which you describe her. I loved every minute of reading your poem!! I couldn't figure out her name. But I wish I could have. Keep writing!!!
