This is generally a well executed piece of art, Tr3x! I give you so much props for that.
I specifically like the interesting angle of the shot, and it was good that you increased the contrast. It gives the piece a stronger, more intense look almost to the point where it appears you worked with charcoal instead of pencil. I do like the initial idea and execution of this piece!
Now a few things that could be fixed up would definitely be;
1.The nose
The nose, as opposed to the rest of the piece, is generally off-kilter. The line of the nose and the way in which you drew it show that it is completely pointing forwards whilst the face in itself has a bit more of an angle towards us. That being said, if he was facing us completely, it would appear that his nose would be generally tilting towards the left.
Try giving a bit more definition to the nose. You give a lovely bit of shading with this so I'm sure with a little bit more work you could get that interesting shade to it so it doesn't look so flat.
2.The iris
Now, one thing that I noticed first and foremost was whole well shaped his head was. It looked interesting and really well sculpted out. The problem with this, though, is that every little detail needs to look on point if you're doing a portraiture. Jesse Owen's is not someone I've generally studied but I did Google him as you suggested, so when I look at his eyes in the photographs of him, there is a definite fire. A strong willed ambition there.
The eye you have, though, appears to be clouded. A lost in thought sort of eye. Very blended so that the iris nearly takes up the complete eye. That being said, I think you should cool down on some of the shading and make the whites more visible. That way, we'll get a sharper, more intense eye. An eye that shows the kind of passion this guy feels.
Overall
I really liked this piece. In fact, I'm quite astounded by it.
In that sense, there were some definite signs of skill and talent all through this piece. Talent that, as much as it embarrasses me to say, I hadn't thought I would find. You really surprised me. Shocked me even. For that, you have my complete congratulations.
So keep drawing. Keep improving yourself. I see a lot in you if you can create something this great.

hey there tr3x I loved your portrait! it is stunning! but there a few things i would like to comment on.... first of all i think you kinda over shaded your portrait, especially the right side, you could have made some shading degrees on that side. Second, you have to make more emphasis on the eye brows and work on the eye a little bit.
Woahs. This is a really good drawing. The one thing that I would have done, is taken one picture of it up close, and one from further back. A look for a distance lets us see the thing as a whole, and it comes together a lot more and we don't see the lines that sometimes show. This is really good though. =] Try to even your lines a little too. It can be really hard, especially with pencil, but it can make a huuuge difference and make this portrait even better than it is. =] Great job.
I'm not going to criticize you for upping the contrast in photoshop, because when the lighting was bad for photos of art I used to take for a newspaper, I did the same thing.
The eye area in general seems like it needs a bit of a touch up and more definition. I think the white of the eye needs to be whiter, and the pupil darker. Overall I would like to see more emotion in them, they look glazed over. After looking up Jesse Owen, I have to admit, it doesn't look entirely like him. The nose especially doesn't seem right.
First I want to point out that your face overall looks like a very anatomically accurate and well formed. And your style is just as conceptually pleasing. Even for a three-tone monochrome pencil piece, this is impressive for your age. (Please don't take that pretentiously, I took art in HS and we had to do this, I don't recall many of my peers being capable of this) Your hands must've hurt after too, I bet. :p You've wonderfully made the black parts of the drawing look like you did it in charcoal. And there's a certain spot, around the cheekbone, that I'm quite fond of.
Overall, great, lovely, don't overstate my criticisms or understate my praise. This is good.
