Hey All :)

Hello everyone.

I'm xMidnightWriterx but seeing as that is kind of long you can call me Midnight if you want. I guess I should write a little about me then. Um, well I'm 16 years old, I live in the south-west of England and I've been writing for about three years now. I write mainly fantasy but I want to try some other genres as well.
I'm not to certain on the rules yet and not sure what what everyone on YWS likes (although I heard something about cookies, but I'm not sure ). Anyway, guess I should start posting and reviewing and thank you if you read this, but thank you even more if you say hello!!

We are sooo glad to have you on our site, it actually isn't that hard, once you master it, and all of us are like awesome. (Not bragging, but we are. there is no denying it.) It’s a great way to meet other writers and, of course get reviews on your own work, and review others. You would not believe how much I've improved, and I haven't even been here a year!!

Do you need some help though, getting to know the site?

Hey Midnight welcome to this site your gonna love it! Im new my self and I'v been posting alote of poetry stuff and had alote of good reviews that were helpful and made me improve alote. If you have any question dont be shy to ask around Anyways its nice to meet you.

Um...well...doesn't everyone like cookies? We don't much like writing though, obviously. We like Pat Buchanan, books, monkeys, but most importantly *dramatic pause* dancing pink elephants!!!!!
And a bunch of other stuff like grammar and whatnot. Or maybe that's just me.

Well everyone has beat me to it but I'm still going to give you a low down on YWS because it's my job. Alright, so YWS is like a pizza. The site itself is the base or else how could you even be on here and like wise, how can you eat pizza without the pizza base? Then you have your peperoni, the main part of the pizza. Your red named people (Nate and his gang of bandits) fall into here. They're the most important people of the site and are those you do not want to get angry because let's face it: spicy peperoni is bad peperoni.

Capsicum is the next one of the list. They're your orange people. Actually they're called Distinguished members but they're called capsicum for now. A step down from peperoni, they do basically the same thing although they aren't the true grit behind all of this. (That and they don't taste as nice. Capsicum on pizza is a necessarity but if I have to much I just cannot take it.)

Now along the passage you may come across these people more frequently then others. The tomatoes. They come in packs, thin and see through though they're by far the tastiest cooked well. No these people are not edible and neither are they so skinny that if they turned them on their side you wouldn't be able to see them (I'd know, I stalk them all the time ), but they are very important. They fall next in line for the throne and have the ability to move a peice of writing between threads, lock down work if it is bad and do the Bear Dance with their hands tied behind their back. Legenday, of course.

Cheese is by far important, these are your storybook writers or SBers which is their preferred name. If you twist them the wrong way they might turn in to low fat cheese on you in a heart beat, which is not good. You can't eat low fat cheese because it's not cheese it's just milk! Anyone can become one, unlike the other three, you have to be very good to become one of those, but once you join don't suspect to back out because you'll be hog tied and positioned onto YWS mountain as fast as you can say: "Hey who are these people tying a rope to my feet?".

Lastly is your Pineapple. Yes no Pizza is good without it and no site is complete without its greeters. If we had no greeters then no one would want to join. Anyone can become this one to and its a lot more easier then become an SBer because those people have teeth. Greeters just have beaks but be careful, they know how to use them.

What am I you may ask? I am my own type. Smothering hot, divine peice of lemon! Yes, this is me on a good day.

Well, I definitely like cookies, though I can't speak for the rest of us. And yes, I also enjoy a dancing pink elephant every now and then. But YWS is a fantasticooo site, and I'm sure you'll love it! There's lots to do and lots of peeps to meet and lots of stuff to review. It's pretty much a big ball of awesomeness around here. Hope you enjoy Yws, it's an amazing site, one of the best that I know! Everyone here is super friendly, crazy maybe, but certainly friendly! If you have talent, it'll be noticed by many people and eventually you'll get known for your excellence and that's what it's all about. Of course, having fun and enjoying writing is the main thing.

To earn points to be able to post your work, you need to review. A review is only counted as a review when it's 250 charachters long. As far as I know, you get 100 points per review. If you review lots, people will take care when reviewing your work, so it's all a big circle!

Drop notes on profiles to meet new people, that you can get to know and of course, become friends with. When you follow someone, it's like adding them as a friend.
