Alouette Covers

So, I'm writing a novel temporarily called Alouette. It's written in a journal of mine so I haven't been much into typing it up on the computer for YWS thanks to laziness. A quick rundown of Alouette: Alouette is actually Marguerite Lamuette, a French girl who aspires to rise to fame with her singing talent. Over a winter, she gathers enough money to pay for passage to the United States of America, leaving her family behind in France. She arrives in time for the fall of the Titanic as well as the first world war...the story is mainly about Alouette (or Marguerite) coping with these major events among other smaller things.

So. Alouette, as I refer to her, has blond-ish hair and possesses delicate, soft features. She seems dazed most of the time and her face reveals some naivete. In short, that's who/what she is.

I'm unsure about the third-- it was kind of done in three seconds but the other two Iworked harder on. I'm not quite sure which is my favourite: they both have their negatives and positives. For example, in the first, I find the girl a little too plump but her look is perfect, unlike the second where she seems a little more girlish but the perfect weight category. But you win some you lose some, right?

Very classy...

I think the second cover is the best! The first kind of makes it seem way to far back in history and I don't know about the story, but I doubt a bird will have a big part in it. Plus, the second cover is simple, the girl is gorgeous, and the font is great. Go with the second cover!

I like the second one as well, but I'm unsure about the font... Maybe it's just that it's not at the right place, or just that it's not the right size or something. I think the L that goes on her face is out of place. But the second one is definitely the best.

Hi there! I really like the second cover! The font should be changed, to match the picture maybe. I really like the other covers because of the font and how it kinda matches the theme. Awesome job and keep it up!

Heyo. I like the first one best, I think its classy and beautiful. I'd change the color font on it though, make it a bit more subtle. The brightness of the font takes away from the picture itself. I might even try to incorporate the last of the three in with the first one. Not sure how to go about that.. but well done =]
