terrorist?

I've never been on a camel,
I've never owned a nuclear weapon.
I don't own a bulletproof vest,
I don't bomb random communities.
Yes I pray five times a day, no,
I don't, support radical Islam.
Of course I Iove pizza,
no i'm not a big fan of hummus.
I'm aware that some of my people are terrorists,
but that does not define me or my people as a whole.
Yes I mourn for the victims of 9/11,
but hate the fact that because of that event im portrayed a terrorist.
yes i'm an arab american!

all i have to say is more power to you!! i hate stereotyping, even thought i do do some myself, i don't like the fact that just because someone's muslim people say they're terrorists when they're not. or because of what color their skin is that they're less than everybody else. so more power to you and keep writing what you believe. WOO!!

This is really good. I understand how you feel and what you are saying in your poem. You are trying to give people a message saying to them. Hatred, stereotyping and things of that nature are idiotic.

I noticed quite a few mistakes throughout your poem. Even so, I found the message of your poem moving and extremely just. I think there are people out there who need to start listening to the voices of the young generation. We speak with heart and tremendous amount of truth. I applaud your ability to speak and stand up for what you believe in despite the bull-nonsense of stereotypical individuals.
