The title of this post is from the Owl City song by the same name.

1. Was bored and felt like draing on paint. I don't have a tablet, so this was done with just a regular computer mouse. This is supposed to be me, but it looks like a boy, and hard as I try, I can't make that expression -_- Also, the animal was supposed to be a skunk (because my hair always reminds me of a skunk) but that didn't turn out well either. But I'm actaully pretty happy with it being a ferret-thing. It would look a lot more like a skunk if it was black and white, but my hair is not black and white. >.<

2. Again, done on Paint with a regular computer mouse. I kinda like this one, but that quality got messed up somehow, so she looks weird.

3. Last couple days of school I drew this in class while the Lion King was playing in the background. I think the picture might have some teardrops on it. ;3 And this turquiose marker was the only one I had. I accidentally stole it from my friend and was going to give it back next perios ^_^

4. This was supposed to go with a poem, but I ended up really, really hating the poem... and I don't like the girl with outlines. I think that ruined it...

Hi!

Well, I'm no artist but I'll do my best here.

#1: My favorite part of this is the shirt (call me weird) but I like the reflected heart. Skunks (as far as I know) are black/dark brown and possibly white. That's why your animal doesn't quite look like a skunk. Also, if the skunk was a different color the balance would be better.

#2: She does look weird, but I like it. Especially the hair! You also did a very nice job on her body. You might try giving this piece a background, because having a very dark character on a very white background is a bit overwhelming and if she stood out more from the background and not the other way around it would help.

#3: This one reminded me of something one of my friends might have drawn. The dog is very well done. I also really like the eyes of the person. Interesting color choice!

#4: This was my favorite piece. The yin-yang is very well done. Anatomically speaking, the woman could definitely use shoulders and a neck (right now her head is pretty much connected to her back). Also, the shoulder blades are abrupt. Instead of penning them it, it might be better to imply them with shading. The dress is nice, the shading is nice, and I really like the contrast between color and grayscale. Personally, I would dispense with the very top of the piece, possibly just fading back into gray or something like that.

Overall: I these are very nice! Make sure you think about balance in your pieces (especially the second one) and remember that how the piece looks at a glance is important because that's all you'll get from most people.

thanks for the view

Hello there :) Truth here for a review!

Drawing # 1: It looks nice, but considering it's supposed to be a girl... then I would suggest you add some plump lips, eyelashes, high cheek bones, those things that are characteristic of girls. The only other thing is that the animal in there looks more like ferret to me, but maybe that's just because it's brown and I've never seen a brown skunk. What I like in the drawing is the eyes; they hold a lot of emotion, the facial expression is awesome as well x) Also, the pattern on the shirt looks really cool.

Drawing # 2: This one caught me off guard with the whiskers. It looked really weird until I figured out she was a cat, with the tail and the ears and all. The tongue is distracting slightly from the face, and the eyes look tired while I feel they should be playful. Other then that she looks really cute, but I'm not sure what's happening with the neck of her shirt...

Drawing # 3: The dog/wolf is really cute on that. I love the colors as well :)

Drawing # 4: I like that one. I like the vibe that I'm getting from it, trying to figure out what the poem would've been xD I think the outlines on the girl bring more focus to her as opposed to the movements in the background, which is good. The colors are really nice in this, except there's this green thing at the back, which I'm not exactly sure what it is... and it's distracting me a lot.

Overall, nice work! I like your work a lot :)
Keep on drawing!

I love the girl with outlines! It really makes her pop out! Brilliant Job!
If you want to be a great writer, don't think about what you're going to write, just write it.

I'm a huge fan of writers block! When your brain halts, with no direction for where you should go, it gives you threads. All you have to do is pull and unravel the story you're meant to write.

First: This is really good! I've tried doing things on paint, but they always come out looking like... well, crap. Hahaha... ^_^ Anyway, shirt design! Amazing <3 How can you always make such creative shirt designs?? Maybe I'm just bad at them myself...? The skunk looks cool as well, love the colors! One thing that looked a little weird was the shirt color. A bit too scribbled and sloppy looking... and the hair looks a little... tall. I don't know, maybe it's just me :P Overall, wonderful!
Second: Super cute!! (kawaii ^_^) The belt on her shirt is a wonderful touch :) I also like how the ears blend with the color of the hair. The tail is also amazing, I like the little stripe thing on it. Her face looks a bit droopy. Maybe try making the whiskers go out instead of droop down her face? I just noticed there are no eyebrows... those can help with expression! :)
Third: My favorite out of the bunch :D The color actually makes it look super cool! It's a great ninja and the animal looks so awesome!! I can't find any errors, it looks perfect!
Fourth: I like the way your character's outfit flows, that's always difficult for me :/ The colors in the background look cool, complementary colors! :D I also like how you can just see the bird's head. Now I want to read your poem :(
I really think you have some talent, keep it up! :)
