An Experimental Piece
“Begin your poem with a quote—it
increases the impact and
provides excellent voice.”
Love is like Macbeth
weeping over feminine
beards.
“Who is your audience?
What do they expect?”
Morning is like logarithm—
this of that is something else.
“Try to maintain coherency
and connect to the feelings
of your reader.”
Sex is a rule that’s
always broken.
“Avoid clichés
at all costs.”
And the company car
broke down
on the interstate.
Fortune.
