The Night

The still black night creeps slowly up,
A silent panther, crouching low.
It greets the moon and stars with ease,
And shifts it's gaze to city-lights.

It watches the humans' feeble scurry
With scolding dissaproval,
And springs up on weary paws
To give way to care-free sun.

(It was supposed to be short, sorry)
The strong mind can confront lies and illusions without being lost. The strong heart can withstand the poison of hatred without being harmed.

Hello there,

Although this was very basic and simplistic, but I did indeed like it. My favorite stanza was the first one because it was more descriptive then the last one. I also liked it because for me it created a lot of imagery which was good. It also really told the picture for me. I would recommend adding some more description to the second stanza. It also uses good grammar and language. Generally I really liked it and I didn't really think it was short at all.

Hello,
I doubt you will take the time to look at this signature, you are all busy people and I respect that, but if you do know this. Every bit of criticism on my writing has helped and every bit of advice you have given me has also helped. So thank you, for everything.

Very nice. It had a deep, descriptive atmosphere. I can't really say a lot on it, though. It was short, but you can never really have a too short poem. Unless it was really bad and like three words. :/

And on the "I didn't put too much work into it" thing: I oughta slap you. I wanna see what your work would be like if you tried. If this isn't trying, then I'm scarred to know how awesome your trying is! Good work, and keep it up! I'd love to see more!

I really like this poem! It is so good! I know it has most likely taken you a very long time indeed to complete and form, but hey, it's great! If there is anyone who disagrees with me then they defiantly have some strange issue that is so unknown to society. Oh well! We will tell them what's right! By the way, this poem is Amazing!
