Night time, my playtime has come at last.
The Retribution I now cast
For I am Judge, Jury, and Execution
All in a body made for Retribution.
From my ancestor to me, judgement has no mercy.
From me to my host, I am sworn to secrecy.
My host is royal on her father's side,
But more like me than what's outside.
She calls me her spirit-friend, but holds me stone
For she is the Next Pharaoh, her and her alone.
I am Judge, Jury, and Execution, that job's large.
They call me Dark Pharaoh, gladly without charge.
Dare deny me and face my wrath,
For my anger's terrible aftermath
Involves Retribution which happens to be my power.
So stay from me during the Midnight hour.
Look down and show some mercy if you can.
Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.

~~~Les Miserables
This is definitely a different poem. To me, it's more like prose. It doesn't read like poetry to me. Good job!
If you want to be a great writer, don't think about what you're going to write, just write it.
I'm a huge fan of writers block! When your brain halts, with no direction for where you should go, it gives you threads. All you have to do is pull and unravel the story you're meant to write.
Sorry chica. But i agree with ButterFinger. It does read more like prose than actual poetry. But it is a very good job. Keep it up. Happy writing!!! :)
