SO. I'm a one month old baby. ^_^
In young writers society terms, of course.
I love it here! I feel that I've already improved so much, in my writing and reviewing. (If I still produce sub-par work, it's because I have a lot of stuff in notebooks that I want to get out there.)
Of all the names people decide to call me here, (and it's interesting to see what they come up with-- I didn't realize my username was so difficult! It's from another website that went down a while ago-- putfile. that was a sad day.)
In case you couldn't tell, I'm a dogmatic dog lady (hey, crazy cat ladies can't get all the attention!) Not in the strict sense of the phrase, though-- I'm still a teenager, living at home. (It's nice to have your parents pay for things. Like food.)
I really enjoy fanfiction, and comics are what I'm into right now-- sort of my way of weaning myself off of anime and manga. XD
Music is nourishment for the soul, and although I wasn't actually a fan of poetry, I started writing it, so now I love to write songs. I hope to get some training in college on how to better write poetry to fit music, although I'm interested in all types of creative writing, and want to learn as much as I can.
Speaking of which, for a long time, I actually wanted to be a vet-- I love animals, and I'm good with them.
However, I've realized lately that my talents aren't suited for math and science (of which you need loads to even get in to vet school) and are more suited to writing. I'm introspective, I think a lot, I can have a way with words sometimes, I love reading...... I just love playing with words, and I want to learn about writing. I don't even mind reading articles on sentence structure and stuff.
Yeah, it can be very frustrating, and sometimes it makes me wanna pull my hair out, but I'd far rather lose hair over writing than over math. :3 And that's how I know that I should probably be a writer. :3
My experience here has been awesome so far-- you guys are very welcoming! Thank you!
