Hey, I'm new. I'll just tell you a few things about myself to get started.

•My favorite band is Led Zeppelin
•I play the trumpet
•My favorite author is Stephen King (I am currently reading the book IT by him)
•I really enjoy to talk/post. So I will probably become annoying to some degree

Hey there, Bivrax. I would just like to be the first to say: Welcome to YWS. Also, Zepplin kind of rules. I like your taste in music already. I doubt you'll become annoying if you like to talk/post. You'll probably just end up making a bunch of friends here.

Any questions so far? As far as anything goes with the site or reviewing, etc.? If you have any, feel free to let me know. But I'm sure you'll be fine. I actually can tell I'm gonna like it here, because it's 100% percent writing, basically. I've been searching for a writing forum for about month now, and I finally found it.

So what do you like to write? Poetry or Prose? I am much of a poetry person.
And once again, welcome to YWS. And, I am sure you'll get addicted to this place in no time cause I got addicted really fast. It's like a world record in getting addicted. XD

I am actually more of a novel type/short story writer. It just comes more natural to me. I'm actually working on a "short" story to put on here, called The New York Rewind. I'm not gonna say what it's about though. All I can say it is based on a horrible event, and is probably gonna be for more mature readers.

Oh, yeah, uhm, I don't know how to review, how do I?

You just need to hit the reply button which you would find at the button left or top left portion of the work you are reading and let the author know how you feel about the piece of work and what can help him/her improve.

You could read this to better understand how to review a post.

Well, you are in the right place, where a lot of users (YWSers) love to do it too, and wish to improve more and more everyday. I hope you enjoy every little corner in this awesome place. When you post the things you wrote, or the photos you've taken, other people will review it for you to improve. They are supposed to tell you the things they would change, and the things they liked, and they also will correct grammatical errors if any. And you can enjoy doing it too!

If you want to meet some people you can go to the chat. Once you are in chat, you'll see YWS citizens saying something like this "Hi, Biv!" "Hey, Rax." "Hellow, Vrax!" "Ello, Raxxy!". If you use "Chat Speak" they will probably say something about it, (we don't like chat speak), since this is a writing site.

Alright! I'm Kagi and I guess I figured I should do the nice neighbourly thing and say hey.

Welcome to Young writers Society or as we call it-YWS.
It's a pretty crazy site but you know, it's one of the best. If you need any help or you're slightly confused just pop a note on my profile, by clicking on my name, and I'll do my best to help you out! I was new here too not so long ago and sometimes it takes a while to get to know your way around here.
So some pointers that'll help you get started;
- Following peoplen is like adding them as your friends.
- When you make a review on stories or poetry or anything you earn points.
-Points is like money.
-You use points to post your on work, when you run out of points~You can't post anymore until you earn some more.
- You can post storeis,poetry,art,scripts,lyrics,articles,movie reviews and so much more here! Post anything you're good at-video's of you singing or anything really! YWS is a great site in that way.
- You can sedn private messages to people by pressing PM ME.
- Entering contests are a good way of getting to know people.

So that's the main stuff really.
Have fun on the site and again, don't be afraid to ask me anything at all!
