Jordan isn't who he seems to be, and he's hiding a dirty secret from Krystal!!
The wind twirling in my hair, the birds singing. Us dancing, us laughing, us kissing, and smiling. And holding eachother as if it was the last time we would ever be together. Us. You stroking my hair, my long golden hair, my hair that you had loved so much. You gazing into my eyes, you kissing my lips. My deep blue eyes, my soft pink lips. But then.... he came. It was him who tore us apart. I never saw you again. I still dream, I still hope, because in both of our hearts we know we were meant to be together. We know we are true loves.

Dear Diary,
Or Bryce, I should say. Dear Bryce, I still miss you and love you so so much! I am anxious for you to come home, so until then.... I will be addressing you through my diary with how I feel. Oh God Bryce, what if you never come home? What will I do then? I guess the best thing to do is keep hope.
Thinking of You,
Krystal.
I carefully closed my leather bound diary, the thing I now held nearest and dearest to my heart since you had left. I turned and faced solemnly at Jordan, your most treasured friend. "Are you done?" Jordan asked angrily. His face was in a snarl, much like a wolf's. But then I laughed, remembering how one night we had been sitting on my porch, and we had heard the wolves howling to the moon. I had screamed and jumped into your lap, you had soothed me and told me it was alright, then we laughed, and kissed. Then I snapped back into the real world and blinked. "Well?" Jordan spoke, still angrily. It always made him upset when we came to talking about you, you had only been missing for six months.
"Yes." I whispered quietly. I used to laugh and smile all the time, but I had grown depressed since you vanished from my life. "Let's go now." I followed Jordan silently as he led me out of my home and into his car. I turned to see my mother, tears streaming down her face, waving goodbye. I ran back towards her and embraced her in one last hug. "Goodbye, Mom. I love you, and I promise, we'll be back soon. We'll be back with Bryce." My Mom smiled a comforting smile, but no sound came from her lips.
"Goodbye, sweetie. I love you too, please be careful." She whimpered. She turned from me and walked quickly back into the house, slamming the door shut. I heard a click and knew she had locked the door, I smiled to myself. That's my overprotective Mom alright. Walking back to the car, I quickly climbed inside and got buckled up. I daydreamed as Jordan hummed aimlessly to some country song.

"I just hope my Mom is going to be alright, I was surprised when she allowed me to do this." I yawned stretching my arms. The car had been quiet since we had first started driving, over an hour ago.
"Krystal, honestly. She's going to be fine, she has your Dad to protect her." Jordan said with a quick laugh. "Actually, I was surprised my Mom let me go with you to look for Bryce. I mean, it's not like we have any idea where he is."
"Yeah, you're right." I yawned. I looked outside to the sky change from a beautiful orange to a dark blue as the sun vanished under the horizon. I layed my head down and closed my eyes as I drifted into a deep sleep.
"Krystal? You asked. You looked tired, like you hadn't slept in days, and you had bruises all over your body.
"Bryce!" I exclaimed. I raced towards you and embraced you in a loving hug. You cried out in pain. "I'm so sorry!" I said pulling off gently.
"Krystal, it's fine. It's the good pain." You smiled a weak smile. "Where are you?"
"In the car, on the way to get you. Why?" I said smiling gently. Just the sight of you was amazing. Your shaggy blond hair was longer than it had been, and you were thinner than usual. Your ribs were sticking out, and your dark green eyes now looked shallow and empty, instead of full of excitment. Your tan skin seemed paler, and you seemed worried. "Oh God, you're still alive, right?" I whimpered.
"Of course, love." You said, stroking my cheek gently. "Please be careful on your way here. I am in a small home by the meadow we used to lay in for hours, remember sweetie? That's where I am. Tell whoever your with to turn around. I'm in the house. I'm ok for now, but don't trust-" You were cut off, you vanished. I cried out in pain as I felt myself vanishing too.
"Don't trust who?" I shrieked awakening from my sleep. "Jordan! Turn around! I know where Bryce is!" But Jordan was gone, and I found myself in a car starting to fill with water. It was soon when the water started to touch my ankles was when I realized I was in a river. My diary. I thought with a panic. Where the hell is it? Then I remembered. The trunk. I clutched the handle to my door and opened it swiftly, shrieking when a burst of icy water hit me, soakig my clothes. I shivered violently as I was pulled out, and being pushed by the current farther down the river. I grabbed hold of the open door and clutched it violently. My teeth chattered and I started making my way towards the trunk. Finally reaching it, I fingered under the rusty bumper for the latch. Finding it I pressed it, smiling when it swung open. The trunk began to fill with water, and I dug through the bags finding the sack of money and my small suitcase. I pulled it out and searched for a nearby bank. The car was almost completely under the water. I pulled with what was left of my strength and clawed at the water. My soaking suitcase trying to sink to the bottom. I finally reached the bank and panted when I was completely out of the water.
"Jordan!" I shrieked angrily. Then I gasped as I saw him passed out just a few feet from me. I ran towards him and began to preform CPR, giving him he kiss of life. He wheezed violently and sat up sharply.
"Krystal! Thank God you're alive! A man, he-he came and stepped in front of the car, I rolled down the window to ask him to move, but then he pulled out a knife. He told me to get out of the car, I refused and he reached and grabbed me by the neck, he knocked me out and I woke up in the river. Thank God you're ok!" He hugged me gently. "Now what did you grab?"
I pointed towards the bags and he groaned. "Ok,we can get some more money from my bank account, and we can buy a used car and some new clothes too. But first lets get to civilization." He began to stand up until I shrieked and pushed him back down. "What?"
"Oh. My. God." Surrounding us, in piles, were bodies. Dozen of bodies, maggots were crawling in them. "I think there is no civilization. I think everyone who lived here is dead."
