Woah.

Just woah.

I am literally stunned.

That must be one damn good camera because the quality is amazing. That first one with the flower? Amazing.

Really, I am at a loss for words- keep on photographing!

Wow ArtyChoke!! I love these!

I don't know a lot about photography so I can't give you a proper review really. I'm happy to say that I think these are really good and you must have an awesome camera. Like the other two review people have said, I think the first one is the best. It's so cool!!! You rock!!! I'm kinda jealous of you. hahaha!!! Sorry I couldn't really help you out. I hope you don't mind too much. I'm really trying to make my reviews better so maybe when I improve them, you can ask me for another one that will be better. Haha. :P

Epic!

Awesome, awesome job here! I have to say that the first is my favorite; you capture the sunlight and the beauty of the water just right! The colors are brought out beautifully here, and all of them have a really nice focus! Great job! Keep posting more like these! They're stunning.

Wow, Arty!

These are so good! I really love the angles you took in these (particularly the first one!). I only have two things to point out. In the second one, it's just not as interesting as the others. I think perhaps a better angle could have been taken to make it a more dynamic shot. It's not that it's a bad picture, it could just be better. ;)

Then there's the last picture, where the grass/weeds in the foreground are really out of focus and it makes the whole picture a little odd. If somehow that very first area was gone/in focus the picture would be a lot better, I think.

Anyways, great photography! I wish I was as good at it as you are! *is jealous*

I absolutely love the first one. All of them are good. But the first one?

Wow.

Hey, Arty! Looks like you've got some pretty good reviews already, but perhaps I can offer my opinion. Let's look at each picture individually.

Picture 1: Incredible. This is by far my favorite. A flower petal silhouetted against the sun? No doubt very original. The colors are splendid. And the water droplets are the perfect touch. The only way you could possibly improve as far as this picture would be to edit out the trees in the background, that little curved shadow on the petals, and the other petals at the bottom. I think this picture could be even better if the focus was put only on the one flower and on nothing else.

Picture 2: Meh. This doesn't work too well because there is really no specific point of focus. If you got only one or two cherries, perhaps I'd like this a bit more - but as it is, it could definitely use some work.

Picture 3: A close second favorite. This isn't for the color, of course, this time - instead, it's for the lack thereof. There's this indescribable sense of dreariness and mystery when I look at this, which you've captured beautifully. In its apparent simplicity, I can really feel much depth. One suggestion, though. If there were just a bit fewer branches in the background, this would easily rival the first picture. I think fewer branches would further emphasize the said emotion.

Okay! Very, very nice job, Arty. I hope to see more of you.

I really like that first one - the way you positioned the picture beneath the flower to capture it... I'm not much of a photographer, so I don't know what's considered thinking "out of the box," but I never would have thought of that. I also like the second and third picture. The colors in the second are so crisp.. it's beautiful. The third picture reminds me of that xbox game, Limbo :P Still really cool, though.

I do like the last one, but as others have already stated, it's bland compared to the others. It's great regardless, though!

Awesome pictures, keep up the good work!

Oh my goodness, these are amazing!! Loooove them all.

1. This is my favorite. The shadows from the droplets are so cool, I never thought of taking something like that, from the underside. It's very creative. Also the focus is perfect.
2. This one's really good. The colors and focus is just right, and I like how there not really anything at the top, so you don't get too much of the berries. And I'm loving that bokeh.
3. A very close second favorite. The B & W definitely makes it. I love the focus, and how there is some blurry stuff in the foreground, but not too much. I also love how it appears to be on a solid gray background, it makes it so much better than if there was something there, taking away focus.
4. This one's OK. It doesn't really grab your attention, and there's no real focus point. The blurriness is not as good as the 3rd, because there comes a point when it's just too much. It would be improved greatly if something was in focus.

Overall these are beautiful, and I can't wait for you to post more!! *Follows* Oh, and welcome to YWS! :)

Very nice. But, the third one does have that bland art look you always see. The kind of thing rich people freak over even though it's quite amateurish, if you know what I mean. If you take more like the first and third, wow, you are the best photographer I've ever heard of! Don't take that in a bad way, please, I said it quite harshly, and I don't mean that. PLEASE post more. Maybe try sepia if there's an option? Or a blur filter if you have such. Oh, and what about setting a long shutter time pointing at the sky during the night with the flower? Star trails and moon rays! That would be awesome if it's possible! :D
