A mentally retarded person who has never led a normal life happens to be very cross with God for taking every single decision of his life and basically for not making him normal. One day, he heard the doctors say that he is about to die tomorrow and they can't do anything to prevent it from happening. After hearing all that, he decides that this time he wouldn't let God take charge of his life but he himself wanted to do something on his own will. He thought that before God takes his life tomorrow he'll dupe him and take his own life today.

I walked to the beach
For I haven’t seen one before
Stood there eating a peach
Taking pleasure out of everything I adore
For I knew that I wouldn’t be able to feel anything anymore

Still were I and even my veil
As it showered and shone in a single day
I feared my spirit would be sealed and given away
Into the hands of the one who creates and destroys
Once a life ripens he eats it
What’s all this about?
We can only guess

What do the doctors think of me?
Am I a bloody fool?
Eavesdropped on their talks but didn’t blow
Look at me; I’m God’s biggest mistake

It almost takes a woman’s life to be born
But it just takes a finger movement to pull the trigger and die
I’ll attempt something on my own
I won’t permit Him to take charge

It’s been decades, I’ve been nowhere but asylums
It sickens me to open my eyes every morning and behold heaps of syringes and ointments
Queasiness is the only feeling I’ve sensed all along
But I won’t let this prevail for long
As I jumped off the cliff
Of that I was glad!

Wow that's one amazing piece of poetry!!
so much meaning and emotion
you have talent, keep writing.
i especially liked the lines
what do the doctors think of me?
am i a bloody fool?

and also
once a life ripens he eats it

i believe that i can relate to this
I know from experience that
God can take someone so close to you away forever
when yet their life was just beginning

so keep up the great work i believe that your reaching out to the readers and that a good thing ;)
but paradise is locked and bolted...
we must make a journey around the world
to see if a back door has perhaps been left open.

it sounds beautiful, i loved it.. i dont know about the part where it says "Im God's mistake" ..
I still like it.

This planet has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much all of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movement of small green pieces of paper, which was odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy.
