So - not sure why - I was writing lyrics again.

KINDLY LIGHT

Everafter, I was a man of principle:
left withal,
left without,
left with, her.
Because I blue-skyed, took my hands from off the wheel:
Saw Hawaii turning circles in the night.

I left Jakarta, with a city in my mind
full of lights
full of time
full of, soul.
But I lost it, took a left turn for a right,
ended up in downtown China with my problems bang to rights.

Lead on by, kindly light;
Lead on by, lead on by, kindly light.
Lead on by, kindly light;
Lead on by, lead on by, kindly light.

O, Lord, for a cigarette by streetlight in St. Paul,
O, Lord, for a losing streak with someone I can trust;
Sometimes the world's just gotta take its problems on the chin,
I can't help so help me by, kindly light.

Lead on by, kindly light;
Lead on by, lead on by, kindly light.
You're a figment - just an angel of the mind
Lead on by, lead on by, kindly light.

(You kindly light up my life) Tell the chairman, I've got a hotel for the night;
Lead on by, lead on by, kindly light.
(You kindly light up my life) Hey St. Paul, take Jakarta for your wife;
Lead on by, lead on by, kindly light.
You kindly light.

though we do not speak, we are by no means silent.

That's...awesome.

So good that I actually finished reading it and decided to comment on it. That's rare. And I love this.

How odd I can have all this inside me and to you it’s just words.
