The bigger the heart the harder they fall,
And down the boy fell.
Through The cracks he dissipated,
Through the boards he dropped.
Past the rats and the drains and Now he knows he can not stop.
He looks up in despair. And thinks of a life lived in vain.
The boy continued to lower
Through Earth and its rocks,
Now going on 6 feet under,
Past the long dead as they rot.
All he can do is look on in horror,
As forces beyond his own power take hold.
And as he clenches and moves the further he sinks,
A life lived in vain. This is all the boy thinks.
Determined he remains however,
And far from self pity.
But this is the life he leads,
Far below the city.
And Now even further he descends.
For reasons unknown he is lost,
But Dead he is not, for sure,
Stuck in an emotionless bubble,
He struggles in his screams for the past, for more.
So now the man rests,
Surrounded by the darkest of Earth, the surface a distant joy
The dead hang above, all laugh.
.
So here now the loneliest of men stays,
Forever,
With his thoughts and his regrets,
Unable to rise, unable to sink,
He has reaches the dark and earthy bottom,
A life in vain is all he thinks.
