Have you ever wanted to let go?
Let go of everything that's holding you back from all you can be? Let go of the one thing that keeps you from finding those bright opportunities?
Letting go of that one boy that keeps you on the edge, where you've almost fallen over but at the last minute he grabs your hand. Then lets go- then grabs it again. Over and over playing with your emotions but you're desperately afraid to not grab hold of him because you're scared of what's going to happen when you hit the bottom.
Have you ever wanted to let go?
Let go of all the lies that you've been being hit from, coming from every side like an attack on your heart, until its so mutilated that you don't even recognize it anymore?
And that time when you were a little girl and you saw a sad movie with a pretty girl and a handsome boy and you whispered to your best friend in the movie theater, "I'm going to have him someday."
But you didn't really mean him. You meant someone who would love you as fiercely as you would love them. In your naive heart that was a real possibility back then.
But back then they didn't tell you that there were liars. And cheaters. Back then, a player was someone on your Baseball Team, and the worst thing someone could do to you was to stop being your friend.
Back then, thinks got mended. Fixed. Back then you could run to someone and everything would turn out all right.
Have you ever wanted to let go?
Of course you have. You always have. But you don't know what's going to happen when your hands slips out of his and you fall. You have no idea if theres going to be someone down there to catch you or just thorns of regret to make the fall worse.
And so you can't risk it. You don't let yourself risk it. You tell yourself its not worth it, and you leave it at that. The risk is not worth the possibility of a hard fall.
Have you ever wanted to let go?
All the time. And you know the time is coming soon. Because that hand is coming less and less often, and someday its not going to come at all.
Have you ever let go?
You jump. Not knowing if someone will catch you. Not having any idea if there will never be someone down there for you. But that's the beauty of love. You'll find it in the strangest of places; even in the thorns you fall down into.
Have you ever let go?
When your life is based around the face of Sawyer from Lost you know you're officially obsessed.

This was enjoyable.

My main critique:

It sounded really winded, like you were just going on and on without really taking the time to put in commas and periods where they're needed. The whole thing sounds like one big run-on sentence. Here's what I'm talking about:

Over and over playing with your emotions but you're desperately afraid to not grab hold of him because you're scared of what's going to happen when you hit the bottom.

Over and over playing with your emotions but you're desperately afraid to not grab hold of him because you're scared of what's going to happen when you hit the bottom.

Those are just two examples I found.

Keep writing!

I liked this.
It was good but like Kafkaescence said I think you need to go back and add commas and periods where needed.
I liked the repetition.
