So this week I haven't had much luck with the art :/ I've kept at it, but nothing was turning out quite like I hoped it would. Anyways, here's what I've done in the last week. Don't make too much fun of it x)

witch

random girl holding pokemon ball (i don't take much credit from this cuz it was highly referenced. I changed the dress pattern and all the colors)

And now for some very unrefined scanned pics. I will probably be coloring these soon.

So uh, sorry for the unfinished work here guys. I just thought I'd let some of you see me on an 'off' week ^_^
The bad news is we don't have any control.
The good news is we can't make any mistakes.

Wow you're very talented. I wish I could draw even half as good as you! & this is an off week?!!? Why aren't my off weeks ever this productive or good? haha. The first unrefined scanned picture is my favourite, Ruka? I bet that's going to be amazing when you finish.

Hey! These aren't as bad as you think they are :)
They're really good actually!
My least favorite would have to be 2nd one but I love the 1st and the last one a lot. I'd suggest you stay with the last one unchanged. I love the blurred lines, there's this uncertainty as to where one start and finished but their faces and expression are just so intense. I love it :)

Keep on drawing!

Wait a minute...did you steal the term 'art dump' from moi? Never mind, :D

Great work! The girl's thumb isn't very visible on the hand that holds the pokeball. Also, both the witch and the pair in the last picture have strange poses. They seem to be caught in action like an awkwardly-taken picture. I'm sure it would look nicer if you posed them like the one in the wheelchair. Unless you meant for them to seem frozen like that.
Hope I helped!

Neat, it's good to see you churn out that art! I will review each quickly and individually!

1. All right, but not the best. The faces are a little flat to me. The girls looks a little to young, if it where a romantic picture I would be slightly disturbed. Alos you tend to do a lot and great straight hair, branch out do some waves or even a fro!

2. Dark but not to dark which is very good! Firstly her face looks a bit skewed her eyes are not even. i have no advice for this as it's a problem i have. The only cure is practice which you do a lot of. Her arms also need practice, more definition would be good maybe also a little longer, arms are a lot longer than people think. Legs are also a problem.

3. my favorite! Is she holding a poke-ball? very sweet i like the face shape and the color choice. The bow on the back is a bit random and her legs look funny, almost backwards. Taking pictures of yourself or others in that pose might help!

4. Good to see and original untouched sketch . Very nice, good use of line really shows of your talent. But the lips don't look good. maybe try extending the center line and but less emphasis on the bow of the lip but this is just an opinion!

5. Different but good! I'm starting to get lazy now.

6. Please finish this one off! i see potential nice to see you using more than one character!

overall quite a nice collection!

Hi agaaaaaaaain :)

So many things to review! I'll try and be more brief than usual :P

(1) It's easy to see here how you're having some difficulty with drawing the profile! I think there needs to be more definition at the bridge of the nose and the forehead rounded a bit more to improve it :) The man's profile looks okay though, and his neck is very good! </neck fetish>
You've got the beginnings of good shading - every thing's in the right place - but you could improve by making it more precise :) I would try and offer more advice herre but I don't have corel so i'm not sure.... maybe try a smaller brush if that is at all relevant advice ^^" On another note, I love the faint blush on her cheeks, it's so cute!

(2) This one is awesome - it deserves a thread of it's own!! Like in another of your pictures, I think the bust is still a little bit too high and the arms a tad short - these problems don't exist in instances where you say you've used a reference so I think it's just something to do with your mental anatomy diagram (but maybe you did use a reference here...?) The face is really good again (maybe a slight problem with the right eye? not a huge issue though), particularly the mouth and nose - it's a really good subtle use of lines to create the right shapes :smt003
Onto colouring - I would still recommend being bolder here :D The tone you've used for shadow on the skin is more of a midtone colour, so I would suggest to use a darker colour. The metal is really good though, it has a lovely shine to it, and the mist of course is awesome and floaty and mystical and i LOVE it :D

(3) Your mouth and nose lines make me want to stamp my feet in jealousy - they are always so good!! I think the shading is quite good on this one, particularly the hair! The only bit of shading that I would question is why it goes lighter when it meets the shoulders - did you use multiple layers or not? If you didn't, it would probably be helpful so that you can be a bit more free with colouring without fear of ruining other bits (can you 'lock transparency' on corel 'cause that's my favourite tool in the world <3)
The other thing on this is the hem of the dress - it would be clunky to explain in words so i've gone and defaced your work again *headdesk*

You just need to look at fabric in real life to see how it moves and falls - you are very good at creases but i think folds are much harder to make look natural :)

(4) This one is quite nice. Her eyes are lovely and match up really well - they have a lovely shape and convey a sense of emotion which is really hard to do!! She has a nice expression and it's good to see that your faces don't all look identical; they each have their own features :)
The creases in the hood are good but see above for my comments on folds - you have a tendency to just make the fabric disappear into thin air once it goes behind! Also I think the hood is a liiiittle bit too wide and should make more of a bell shape around her head.

.. Maybe a bell wasn't the best example of a shape ... but hopefully you get the idea?

(5) I think overall this one is really good in face and proportions but the shoulders are just a little bit too low and curved. They need a bit more definition. (sorry to focus on the negatives here but everything else on this one seems absolutely great :))

(6) This one is really good and has heaps of potential!! I don't want to say too much on this one because I'm waiting eagerly to see the final piece ^^" From what I can see of your sketch it looks ready for colouring; just maybe more definition in her legs is necessary? Their facial expressions are very good and so is her hair (have you noticed I like the way you draw hair?) The swords are awesome and I want them!

Can wait to see more of your stuff and this was definately NOT an 'off week'. :smt003

Hey! I really like the seon pic, and the fourth one.
Your art style seems to be a bit anime manga like.
It's toaly awesome! I think the darker pictures of yours are better than the light colored ones though. Like the one with the girl with the hood over her head, and the second one.
I think you could use a bit of work in maybe the faces, but I like alot of this stuff! Very very very good!
keep it up and don't stop drawing!

Wow, is this really an off day?! Aha, I could never draw like this even if it was a good day for me. Your really gifted and I really like the fourth one and can’t wait to see what it looks like when/if you decide to colour it :)
Awesome!
Keep it up.
