I like the shot, a lot (hey rhyme!)

however, the whole rawr means Iloveyou thing is sooooo hackneyed and annoying.

Hey, this is a great photo. The whole 'rawr' thing is overdone, so get creative! Experiment with different papers, words, and backgrounds. You could get so many good shots out of this! I love the background with all the people, though. It is blurred our perfectly.

Keep up the good work,

Calli,

P.S. By the way could you tell me what editing program you used?

Hey telle x)
Honestly, I love this. I am very drawn to the colors; the crumpled-ness of the paper and the fogged out blurry folks in the back gives everything lots of, i don't know, dimension? x) I really don't know a thing about photography, but I think this is amazing so keep being spontaneous and amazing work :)

I don't know if anyone else noticed this but, the crumpled paper is almost in the shape of a heart (or I might just be going crazy). It's creative. However, you might have wanted to use a brighter piece of paper (like those neon notebook papers that are blue, green, pink, etc.) or darkened the background to make the piece of paper stand out more. But overall, I do love the picture. It's creative despite the whole "rawr" thing being overused (which it isn't in my book).

A good start for a photographer. I do like how you captured the crumpled paper - which I agree with somethingbeautiful, it does look like it's in the shape of a heart! - and blurred the background... But the picture could be enhanced a little more. Try up-ing the saturation a little bit, as well as general contrast. It will not only make the colors pop out more noticeably, but it will create deeper shadows and brighter highlights.

But you do need to be more creative. It seems you're a symbolic person, inspired by every day objects and random words. Build upon that inspiration. Search for more elaborate - well, maybe not elaborate, but captivating subjects, and work with those. Try different angles, too. Head-on angles don't necessarily work the best.

Keep trying!

I LOVE this photo. :D Yeah, the whole 'Rawr' thing is a little over done, but I guess you could say the same about love. Or am I just making stuff up now.... :\
ANYWAY... I really like the perspective on this one, the blurred background is very good as well. And the scrunched up, heart shaped paper is a great idea.
(Personally I think that the whole 'Rawr=Love' thing is really cute :D)

Hey there,

Okay so the fact that the entire picture is just really cute is a plus. It is also a big plus that it's a really good photo. The point behind the picture is really good, and the symbolism of the picture is really great. However while the 'rawr' is being used a lot the message is still really good. Maybe just try a saying with a little more of a personal touch next time:)

Hope to see more soon!

Hi :)
I really love this, perfect composition you've chosen here. I love the colour effect, and the blurred out background. I can't see anything wrong with this. Keep it up :)

This isn't really a crit, but I had to post.

So when did rawr start meaning I love you? Im not a hater or anything, but for some reason, all of my friends (well, the female ones for that matter) just started going up to random people or posting on Facebook "Rawr means I love you in dino!" Can someone tell me where this phrase came from?

Oh, great pic by the way.

It is a good photo, but the whole "Rawr means I love you" is a little bit overused. Think of something original. Keep up the good work! :D

Even though this is a very cliche phrase, I think your picture did it a lot of justice! Great job!

whew. it's been a while since i last checked, and i do appreciate the reviews. thanks a ton.
let's start with
somethingbeautiful: hey dear. the crumpled paper shaped like a heart--well, i didn't do that on purpose, but i loved the result! thanks for noticing. we have a lot of neon (neon pink, neon yellow, neon blue, neon orange) sticky notes, but i just didn't think that will work out, so i used an ordinary piece of yellow paper. i'll try using neon next time, make it stand out more. thanks.

AyumiGosu17: i agree that i am not creative, thanks for reminding me. and also for the motivation--it's true i am inspired by anything random i see everyday. hope i can get lots of ideas next time.

SammyJ: thanks. i also think 'rawr=love' is cute. :D

Nyx: a little more of personal touch, huh? thanks for bringing that up.

Waterlilygirl: you can't see anything wrong? thank you thank you thank you! i love you to pieces. :)

WritersUnleashed: seriously, i don't know where that came from. i couldn't connect it to a dino either, but it's cute when someone says rawr, and i thought expressing it like this would be cute too. if not, then that's not my problem anymore. i'm also not a hater or something.

cupcake: i know it is. *sighs* anyway, thanks. i love your avvie btw.

Kaywiia: thanks for the motivation. i love your avvie too. :D

i hope you all take time to read this, because i really appreciated your points, your comments, your critiques.
thanks again.
