Spoiler
okay so first, you are wondering why this is titled "carrots".
well, i have this friend who likes a certain guy which they called edward. so this edward is a typical boy next door, charming, but totally indifferent and uncaring. he's a schoolmate, by the way. just next class to mine. and he's got this bright orange backpack. so thus the name carrots emerged. :D

sorry if it's not that good. i need your feedbacks. this is for my friend, mia.

Nice, I like the title of this the most. Carrots= genius and very cute. I will outline the issues I have with this quickly.

1. Twilight quote= not good. It has nothing to do with your friend, except for the fact that his name is Edward, unless he takes heroin and smells people. It makes you look like a fan girl. Try other love quotes and maybe wen you do it signify who the quote is coming from. Just look at my signature at the bottom, I said where it came from. Even better thing of your own.

2. I like your writing, and I couldn't do a much better doodle my self. Although i know nothing about photography i would say your picture taking skills are pretty dam good.

3. The characters are a bit square and un-proportioned. It makes them look unreal and doodleish. Try getting someone to stand up, you give them a long stare from behind. How are their bodies formed. What are the ratios? get up and look at yourself. Put your arms down and see how far they go down your thigh. In the picture the arms barley come up the the hip. It's hard to get the body perfect but a few changes will make a big difference.

4. Also the hair is a bit bland, manga is always a good starting point for cartoonish hair. I have and extremely talented acquaintance that would draw each strand by strand. I learned so much just by observing her.

5. I also the love the paper and that school girl crush vibe you give the piece very good.

Sorry I know this is for your friend, i just keep on referring for you because I'm used to doing reviews this way.

Hello there. :)

So let me begin by saying that if I'm harsh, I'm sorry. It's not my intention, and I'm only trying to give up constructive criticism. :)

First off, the proportions seem a little bit off. The girl looks like she's as much boxy then the guy... She should have curves. Much more then the guy. :)

You see how her back curves a lot towards her behind? It creates a pear shape. So the girl should have a little curve for her breast, and then you come back in, just a little to create the 'pear' shape. You then curve a little bit wider for her hips. Hope I explained it clearly, and you can see what I mean. ;)
The legs and arms... Well I think Jennya already told you everything you needed to know. A little hint for the clothes, though. I always use a reference picture when I draw people because you get a real feel.

So you see how the jeans fall here. For the guy and the girl. Take this as an example, you see how the girl's legs seem smaller then the guy's? I know you might not want to draw your friend in skinny jeans, but you can always type girl in straight jeans walking from back in google, and I'm sure you'll get some picture you could use to help you.
You could do the same with the shirts and such. :)

So! Last but not least, I kind of like the quote. It's a funny link between his name and the book everyone's been obsessing over. I also like the way you've written it because it gives a kind of innocent girl feel to it.

I'm done for the review. Hope the images helped you to understand my ramble. ;) Keep drawing!
