Just some snapshots of the kitten that now resides with me.
I know they are all very similar but like I said, they are just snapshots. Playing around with ISO. Comments and critique is greatly appreciated and on a side note, does any one still shoot in film?
Very nice. The cat's eyes in the last picture are beautiful. I like the lighting of the first few pictures, it's cool to see. You certainly know your way around a camera, and your cat is cute. But the brightness behind almost looks like it's erasing parts of the cat. I don't know if there's a way to fix that, but it's kind of noticeable. I hope I could help, I'm not a photographer myself, so keep writing, or snapping, or whatever.
And the angel said unto him, “stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself.” But lo, he could not stop, for the angel was hitting him with his own hands.
I don't know much about photography, but I really like these The first one is definately the best, it seemed to show the most of the cat, where the others were taken a little too close up and the cat's ears got cut off a bit. Also, the eyes of the cat in the last two just seem a bit scared. Again, you might want to zoom out to get a full picture. And I don't know if it's just me, but the white background on the last 2 pics is overly bright, and makes the lighting seem harsh and distorted. But honestly, I love the first pic and think you did a great job Nice kitty.
The bad news is we don't have any control. The good news is we can't make any mistakes. -Chuck Palahniuk
The 3rd picture is by far the best. It show a good balance of shadow and light and also highlights your cats beautiful eyes. The first one is also nice, although does not show the same depth as the third one and the second one is just a little to zoomed in and also his eyes look a little bugged out, Great work, I love your stuff, Keep snapping pics, FAF
This is pretty good photography! I think the first and third ones look the best. The picture is very clear, and the cat is just adorable! I think the pictures are very good.

Thanks every one, and I know the lighting is harsh but my aperture was open pretty wide, these have not been edited, I don't think I even boosted the exposure or contrast in Iphoto so there really is nothing I can do about the light but I see what you mean. Love getting the comments and reviews!
i dont know i lot about photography so i cant makeany useful comments, im sorry. But im going to say, (to me) these are really good photos the kitten is so cute ! keep snapping... ?
I really liked these. They were nice to look at. The lighting, contrary to what Vas said, I think that the brightness is nice. I think it ecentuates the kitten. One problem I did have with them though is the ears. I feel that the ears are one of the best attributes to any cat. And of course my favorite was the last one. It looked like your kitten was deep in thought. I loved them. Keep taking pictures.
Hiya! Firstly, as people have said, the brightness is too harsh for the cat, leaving the cat quite underexposed. I would use an exposure brush to lighten the cat up a little, then just general editing like contrast. Secondly, the cat's ears are cut off for the first two (I can't see the third one for some reason...). Try get the whole cat's head in. Thirdly, I'm not sure that B&W was the right choice for these photos. That kitten looks very pretty, and I think it would work better if it was in colour. On the plus side, the quality and focusing is good, as is the off centred positioning of the kitty. What ISO did you use for these, out of interest? Sorry for the harsh-ish review, I just think you can improve a lotttttttttt and become pretty pro
I believe the 3rd picture is the greatest. It definitely shows the lights and darks of the cat, and it's a very good balance of them both. There is not too much dark, like the other pictures. So, 3rd is the winner!
