Valentines day

I'm not the kind of person that writes all lovey dovey... but I wrote this Iambic Pentameter sonnet for an assignment and felt like I should share it.

Just as I woke up
I was still nervous
Poured myself a cup
and thought about us

It's valentine's day
Love is in the air
Just floating away
Giggles everywhere

Some People sour
And some People sweet
Hours and hours
It's a real treat

Infatuation
Without a question

i liked how you expressed how you saw valentine's day. you showed us what you thought about, your worries,.... this gives your poem a personal tough that every body love but i think this can be explained a little
