Experimental Photos

Hello everyone! I've been experimenting on my Camera and this are the products.Let me give my special thanks and appreciation to ScarlettFire for giving me some extra points, Persephoneia, Jenthura, Snailsareslimy and everybody who have reviewed my previous works for pointing out some flaws in my work which became the fuel of my driving force. Nice shots!
So, the first one is definitely my favorite. You have some excellent shadows and nice positioning. Perfect execution of the rule-of-thirds. While I like the DOF, I also think that you could have switched the focus to include the water as well. The pipe, even though nicely focused, really doesn't have a really interesting texture, and so the shot almost looks glassy, and it's hard to engage into it because of that separation from the onlooker. Maybe the texture could have been made a little bit MORE interesting with a little bit more focus (especially on the ringed part with water), but next time I think it would just be better with the water focused as well.
Really nice processing on that shot as well-- love the tones.

While I like the bokeh in this one, the first one definitely takes it for me. This feels a bit unfocused (just the tiniest bit) to me as well, especially because you can see the movement of your hands or whatever it was in the bokeh. Bokeh, when there is no movement at all, is extremely precise looking, while this makes it look dragged a little.

I'm not crazy about the next one. The positioning feels weird to me, as does the focus. The line on the side (the pipe going up) is extremely distracting, especially because it's not nicely up-and-down, so you might consider cropping that out. You might also consider cropping out the flowers on the bottom left, and making this a narrow shot to include the flower that the water is falling in front of. It's a nice picture, and I really like the simplicity of the shot, but I would try moving the end of the spigot to accommodate the rule-of-thirds and make a couple crops. Again, nice processing.

Not crazy about this one-- you have nice focus, but it's kind of flattened with the white, and fabric pictures are taken quite a bit without there actually being much to them. They're just kind of... there. No emotion, no real interest, just... existence. Having said that, for a fabric picture, good job.

Overall, nice job. Love the processing.

Wow, I don't take photographs very much and when I do its on my cellphone so I don't know about all the technical stuff, but to me they look fabulous! You have a really nice camera....

I really like these pictures especially with the sepia tone. It made them look so much better if you would have left them as they would have been in real life. My only issue is the last photo which didn't hold much interest to me. It doesn't seem to fit in with the first two pictures.

The first and second photo are my favorite by far. I love how you captured the water coming out of the faucet and I love the texture of the faucet in contrast to the water. Depth of field also really works in these two pictures. The third picture I am not so crazy about for some reason. It is a nice picture but I think it is the "blue-ish" feel that it has to it, and maybe this is just me. The last photo is cool, again because of the textures and lighting but there is nothing there to really catch my eye and before the fourth one it seemed almost like a series of pictures. Overall awesome photos and I really want to see some more!

I really like all of these photos, they're very good. The color of the first two photos make the focus stand out. At least, when I looked at the pictures, the water coming out of the spout stuck out to me. Great job!
