Lieutenant. To put it simply for you- if she dies, we're all buggered. The Rebels'll eat us alive, maybe too literally for my liking. - Jeremy

[odd, never-before-seen blushing ensues] Upton, I suppose. Here...here, everyone's so corrupt and terrible and selfish, and he's so pure. Ethereal, really. - Adelais

If your lover/best friend lay dying in your arms, what would you [both] say?

What's the biggest lie you've ever told?
But that is not the question. Why we are here, that is the question. And we are blessed in this, that we happen to know the answer. Yes, in this immense confusion one thing alone is clear. We are waiting for Godot to come. -Beckett

"I do not lie, not even to Moncreif, until he broke his word." ~Danteel

"My face is a lie. My actions are a lie. Everything I do has to be a lie for me to survive as a slave in a court of high-born nobles. I lie to everyone every minte, except Nasharon (my master) who would know when I was lying, and...Cheriss." ~K'ratcha

"Drama! Sheer drama! *seriously* It would be when I told Isala who I actually was. What my name was, and where I'd come from. That was so hard to speak about something that I hadn't spoken about for almost years." ~The Raven

"When I revealed that I'd broken my promise to someone. He'd asked me specially not to do this thing, and I did it anyway. I couldn't look at him for days afterwards." ~Kit

"I don't think there was ever one. The most dreadful thing I ever did, everyone already knew about, so I didn't have to reveal it to anyone. A blessing and a curse. Mad world." ~Fal.

"When I said why I couldn't do something. I was revealing what my greatest fear is, and as it's irrational, it was embarressing to talk about it. But it governs my actions, so I can't hide it." ~Rohsair

Hmm...was I happier before? I admit, it was nice, not having to worry about court, or what the world thought, but if I hadn't reacted then things would be the same. Was that better? Was I happier then? No. I changed because if I just took it, then at some point I would have lost myself. I became stronger, trusted more in myself. I learned who I really was. -Jamie (POD)
