What's the first thing you remember?

I vaguely remember Pa taking me out to the fields when I was 1 1/2 years old to see the first potato. He was so proud that he got to show his first girl the efforts of all his hard work. What a grand first memory! I remember it well, I do. Unfortunately, it's of what is most painful to me heart-Pa and potatoes.
