So yeah, another night when I couldn't sleep. There's a lot of sloppiness in this drawing; I was experimenting with blurs, colors, and smears. For some reason I don't think the colors clash well, but other times I think it looks good. hmmmm :/

Hey, I love this The colors don't clash all that much... The things I love most: The hair and the cute face The things you could improve: Uh, where are the hands? He looks like he's floating in my imagination haha.
Um, to start with, his eye, nose and mouth are a little too small for his face. His hair gives off the impression he has a bunch of head, but you can't see much of it. His neck is too wide and long to be really in proportion to the rest of his body. It seems to be a sort of inward-oval shape, and bulges at the top while being too small for the bottom. The collar of his shirt makes him look like he has an invisible forcefield around his neck. If his collar was really too big for him, it'd sort of slump down past his collarbone. Next up, the shoulders. It's fine on the left side, but on the right it's at a weird sort of angle. The black line then cuts off his arm from the rest of his body and makes it look isolated. If the shirt was the same on the left, it'd be fine, but if it's not, it won't be. He also has no hands, something that TheTruthLiesWithin mentioned.
Apart from that, it's a really good drawing. I love the gradients and how they blend, and gosh - I want some of that hair! 3_3 The eyepatch is cute as well. The little bow thing is really awesome.
I feel really harsh now, but I do like this picture. You should pick up a couple of books on drawing manga or general anatomy to get better at drawing bodies. I know you were tired and couldn't sleep when you drew this, I just think you could get better at drawing. ;D
Hey there! That's a pretty good piece. I do like the rather clashiness of the colours. Mysti here's covered most of the nit picks. I'd just like to add that the way the shirt is drawn (the right sided outline) makes it seem like a female's outline. And as Mysti said, the neck needs some depth to it.
