Well. I guess I can simply say that I neither loved nor hated this photo. There is nothing truly spectacular about it, but nothing absolutely horrible either. Problem is, I don't have any criticism for you, nothing specific that would be better left out. God, this review is probably completely useless. Even worse considering I'm not even a photographer myself. Ah, well. Keep up the good work
I really like the simplicity of this photo. It seems everyone is always trying to make everything so spectacular and gaudy, so for me the simple things are the best. There is a lot to look at. I also like the perspective in which you captured it, and also the shades of gray. It has a certain clarity to it, what kind of camera do you have? Maybe you should try taking another picture during different times of the day, I bet a twilight setting would look great!
Thank you so much! ^_^ I know, it does have a lot to see in the picture, doesn't it? I really like this though, because the setting was completely natural and I was even in a bit of a rush! I don't have any fancy camera, just a Kodak Easyshare M763. Most of the time the pictures are kind of blurry, so I was happy with the way this one turned out. =]
Edit: I'll have to try that out! The picture was actually taken on my street, so I have access to the area at all times. I'm not sure if my camera will be able to pick up any lighting, but I'll try it out for sure. ^_^
Ohh, I like this picture! Someone else said on here that all the photography these days seemed to lean heavily on the gaudy and I totally agree. It's nice to see something so simple and untouched on here for a change! I especially like how you can barely make out the presence of houses behind all the fog and how the sidewalk curves. I also like the thistle plants or whatever they are on the side. They add a bit of texture and help draw attention to the fact that there are houses if you look hard enough! Lastly, you didn't rely on any fancy angles and I'm glad because I think that would have ruined the picture for me.

This is a very good picture. You managed to capture the road and the field, and thats very good. The fog really added some emotion to the picture. There were no cars on the road, and I liked that. Everything seems so organized. And you caught the field in mid-frost, which is very unique. This is a great picture, and I would like to see more of your work.
