I fell silent, not exactly sure what to say, or how to say it. I stood there for minutes in silence, just watching. I was learning, being enlightened, in more ways than one.
Shock filled my mind. It was so simple and easy, yet so horrifyingly scary, and difficult. If that makes sense at all. Nothing really does to me anymore.
The way he explained his reasoning in such a poetic tone, but i wasn't sure if it was just me, or if it was truly him. His lips moved gracefully, the words simply rolled off his tongue. Almost as if he was speaking words that didn't belong to him. He was brave in a sense, especially to the fact he may die saying the wrong thing. He stopped, glanced at me and back to David's hard face, then hummed in thought. He opened his mouth to speak,"Don't screw up," he said to Paul and myself. I didn't know what to think, cause honestly, I didn't think we could pull this stunt off. I huffed in disbelief, and David's Bodyguard Edgar's eyes flung in my direction. At first, I felt his eyes on me, then the feeling left. I looked at Edgar and his eyes widened at the door behind me.
The way he was looking at the door made me want to scream and spin around. I heard a deep laugh coming from behind me. I spun around, wide-eyed.Standing in the doorway was Officer Wilson. I only knew him because he had arrested me for drug-possession. Shit, I thought worriedly. My eyes strayed to the revolver rested in his belt, i gasped. "How's it goin' criminals?" he asked casually. We all sat in silence for a moment, a smile spread across Wilson's face.
Wilson was proud of himself and we knew it. He opened his mouth to speak, PING! Dead. Wilson fell lifelessly to the floor, almost hitting me. He head completely thrashed. I turned around to see Edgar's gun had still been raised. I knew exactly who shot him before I even turned away from the dead, head-blown cop.
You're probably wondering why seeing a head get blown-up didn't make me even gag. Well, in the drug world, peoples heads get blown off all the time. Yeah, it sounds harsh, but it's facts. I don't blame you though. I tend to wonder the same thing.
I'm involved in this drug world, not because I do drugs, but because I sell them. Long and difficult process but it pays damn good money. Dangerous and risky, but i need the money for school, and my son and I.
Little T-baby Tristan. My world. See I have a job not including my drug deal to take care of my world, here. I love him with every beat of my heart, where his father is... I could not say, because i know no such knowledge. I( sometimes wonder myself...
I guess this would be the time i said, "Life is full of surprises." Not always good ones, not always bad. You can never believe a man if he says he loves you, it's not true the least bit. Of course, i'm sure we all wish it was. But life, sadly, isn't fair and terribly cruel. Then you die, simple as that. Yet, we can make ourselves know by simply making a fool of ourselves, it's crazy how that always tends to work out.
My life has never been the greatest. Ever. I don't have any life long childhood friends. I was never like anyone else... I was the odd ball. Always the stranger one of the kids. I never knew exactly why.
After Wilson being shot, a huge realization hit me. The was NOT the life a girl like me should be living, I have about two months left of cosmetology school. So i figured i could deal with my single paycheck for a while. I nodded at the completion of my thought, "Guys, i'm done," they looked up and stared blankly. Then David and Paul nodded a dismissal, and i turned to leave. As i was about to leave a heavy hand lied on my shoulder, "Good Luck, Kass," Edgar smiled. I turned to face him then hugged him with all my might, "You too, big guy," I said quietly then turned to exit the room.
I contently walked out into the parking lot towards my car. I had walked past a silver Sedan, when someone walked from behind it. Hands in his pocket he stood looking at the ground, then he lifted his head with a smile, "Hello Kasidie," I froze. Then beamed a smile jumping into his arms, "Oh Mikey!!! Where have you been? How'd you know i was here?" He smiled again, "An anonymous tip,"

Hi!

After the reading this story i feel a bit...Muddled. Is that the right word? Not sure.

Anyhow.

A guy gets shot, and I'm i like yeah okay this sounds interesting, but then you your narrator starts talking about drugs and selling them.

Maybe elaborate more on each aspect of the story. I think that this character as something to tell us all.

Enable her to express and elaborate, and you will have a good start to something bigger.

I like your idea!!

I thought that this was an amazing story! It seemed very sad though. I liked the way you described everything in such little detail. I think that you should write a second piece. Over all, great story!

This whole story didn't seem all that realistic. This seems more like a mafia world, not a drug world. Low-level coke and weed dealers know better than to shoot a cop. Take your time and add details to make it more realistic instead of rushing through the plot.
