(Absinthian Dreams Part Two of Two)

2-12-06

Melting
down
the street in my happy
absinthian dreams,
like a magnet I find love
I name it you, a kiss of despair,
and lonely friendship
is the way of these peoples
smoking through bongs in the spring
screaming in the summer in heat,
playing sex games in the ball-sweat love
making sweet love with a napkin
at the end of super-humanized halls
I didn’t know what truth was
until, at the crinkly-fire edges of late-night
Tibetan holy city of Lhasa
I drank sugar and cream
and awoke with a scream.
Solid pregnancy is the echo,
the echo of love on the night
of happy bruises, crazy red-heads,
and everything numbing my brain
like love peeled away, that’s how it is
I wanna be mother Theresa’s teddy bear
hugged into submission and cried
like a lighter lit, a rocket expelled
down the bleeding asshole of time
Melting
Melting, light this endless dream
marlboro night-terror
kisses expanding like flowers expanding,
find the holy light...
Blinded by the night
as I find my holy twist,
hold my bleeding wrist,
this is my deep depth shrug
this is my cough of love, my beard is a magnet
A magnet for hot dreams
you know–Hot!
“Sexual encounters with hotel women in Hawaii” hot,
“lesbian brawl in nighttime explosion inspiration lonely puff at midnight” hot
Santana’s sexy guitar rolling us into the future,
like all of that, it’s sexy as hell.
So I’m pulled into enlightenment,
while I grope my insane penal expulsion–
that’s a secret you should ignore,
And televisions hum with our love-shallow language.
I see people grin insanity, love like buggery Australians,
and in this atmosphere, I’ve heard of a terrifyingly-possible miscarriage-to-be.
Hold your stomach and your love of God,
pray, because there was a car shattered, hospital-visit,
and this explosion of hope and pain is the present
of these lonely peoples...
...

two accidents in two days,
God’s light is burning now,
and I always dream
these whacked and semi-real absinthian emotions.
The sun hides, sometimes,
and my nightmare is a skewed realm,
fight my mad dancer twist,
and melt
into slurpy fall.

This is more like a story. It is too long for a poem in my opinion. But the context is good.I don't get the point though...
And everytime I try to fly, I fall
Without my wings, I feel so small
I guess I need you, baby
And everytime I see you in my dreams
I see your face, you're haunting me
I guess I need you, baby

Opportunity does not knock, it presents itself when you beat down the door.
