I create, I destroy
I aren't, I Dwell
Frolicking, then Burning
Incinerated by a Furnace from Hell
Dancing on a cloud in Heaven
Singing like I could Sing
I build anything, when I am done
I Destroy
Move on to the next one
Carve it, sculpt it
Make it my own
Build it my own
I live in the past, the future.
I fight, I survive
I am, I live
Working, then Fighting
Believing, Hoping
Wanting, Needing
Thinking, Acting
Doing, not pondering,
Harvesting the fruits of my labor,
Flirting with my love
Surviving today, to see tomorrow
By acting, I carve
By pondering, I create
I live in the present, and only.
To Dwell, To Live
Rarely does one do both
Why not ponder?
Live in fantasy?
Work, Play, Create, Build
Destroy?
The sculptor of both
War in reality
My hand in the other
A link!
In dwelling, I toss it away when I am done
In reality, I recycle
In one I want,
The other I have
To be happy is something I have in both
In my fantasies I dream up the impossible
In reality, I build, I work
I get my satisfaction in that, but something is missing
So I turn to myself
The deep recesses
From there I shape, and make something inexistent, exist
And, maybe, If I try
I can bring it together, live within myself and others
Resonate my soul, bring my thoughts to life, not live in tomorrow or yesterday, but today
Yesterday is an experience, tomorrow is a concept
Today is here, use my experiences to build in it
I design within myself
I create without myself
I destroy, never
It lives on in yesterday,
And the Unknown is Tomorrow, today is a possibility
Do not Dwell
Do not Ponder
Do not Live
Do not go uncaring
Strive, Thrive
Work within yourself to escape and bring something
To reality,
Try dwelling, then living.

Just wrote this quickly, poetry is not my thing.
This is for the most part about how many can't work together within themselves, many are disembodied, you need to find your other half, the other that dwells, not lives. Or vice versa. Please put in your review the meaning you received. Thank you, and I wish to practice at this more, and I really like this, actually. First good poem I have ever written.
And Looooooooooooooooooong!
EDIT1: I write these quickly, and usually don't check them over. My reasoning would be that...wait, just read this next part: You know how you read a good book or beat a good game, then you go and hear/read that it was a complete overhaul from the original idea? And, then, you realize that it would've been so much better? Original ideas are harder to do, but dumbing something down just to do it isn't good, fight to complete it, and believe, me, if you keep revising, you will lose yourself and the meaning of a poem. I just wrote this, thoughts as they came. I didn't even check it over. If I had, I would've lost what I was saying.
