Predator
Lion stalking prey,
camouflaged by long dead grass,
dead gazelle, at peace.

The sea
Sunlight on water,
rippling waves upon sand,
a shining seashell.

Moonlit beauty
A magical horse,
bearing a shining pure horn,
trotting through forests.

Haha. The topics are a little cliche, but I like these poems all the same.
One thing I'd like to say is that I really like that you used bigger words, like camouflaged and rippling, or something like that. While they're fairly common words, it's still better than other haikus I've seen, where it's all just small words and simple sentences. Using better descriptive words keeps the reader interested.

Overall, great poems. :)

I like your haikus! Especially that they're about nature. I try to write my poems on the same topic because I find it different. Nice work! Keep 'em coming! :)

I love haikus. These ones are great. My favourite one is the last one.

Predator:
Lion stalking prey/ This sounds a bit primal. Rudimentary. Maybe try "lions stalk thier prey"?
Camoflauged in the long dead grass/ You are trying to fill the spaces here. Plus you have 8 syllables instead of 7. I would take out dead. Or maybe say Hidden by the long dead grass?
Dead gazelle, at peace/ This is good here. I like how you state that the prey is a gazelle. I also like how it seems there is only a flash before the hazelle is taken down. But you do not need that comma in there.

as for this poem, I vthought it had a good topic. The poem shows exactly what happens in a prey/predator situation like this. It was to the point. Which is something you always need in a poem such as a haiku. The predator is a well done piece of liturature, and with a bit more careful planning it could be to my standards (what i think is) of perfection.

The sea:
Sunlight on water/ this is good. The sunlight is portrayed as a thicker, slightly solid thing. It shows that you see the water, and you see the reflection of sunlight, but you refuse to see it as a reflection. You see the real thing. You set that up quite nicely. Good job.
Rippling waves upon sand/ hmmmm. I think by the time a wave reaches the sandy shore, it starts rollong along rather than rippling. Though this puts up a nice sweet image, I do not think that "rippling" is what is happening in my mental picture here.
A shining seashell/ this line here seems to be disconnected from the rest of the poem. The only thing I can think is if you added an s to the word seashell. Then taking out A and putting "the"between shining and seashells. Basicly make it sound like the watter is "shining the seashells" see?

This poem also was a good one. I liked this one better than the other one because it is overall much ore peaceful and relaxing than the predator. This one was actually harder to review than the other one, because it was more tightly put together. You want to make your words weave together to strengthen your poem if you are going to make short ones.

Moonlit beauty:
A magical horse/ at first i thought you were going for a knight here. But of course not. Maybe, since horse sounds so unmagical, try saying beast. Whoooooo.
Bearing a shining pure horn/ the ONLY thing i would change here is instead of pure find a color. Thats is it.
Trotting through forests/ hmmm. Unicorns are mythical, so... now this line is perfectly wonderful as it is, and this is just a truely personal suggestion, but why not let the little unicorn be "trotting through my dreams" ? Eh?

This one was by far my favorite. I mostly love how you managed to not say unicorn once butyou can still tell exactly what it is.

Writing haikus are not easy. You have to pack a big punch in only seventeen syllables. As critical as i seemed here, you did do good, and i wholeheartedly congradulate you on that. Really, well done.
"And when you're out there,
without care, yeah,
I was out of touch!
But it wasn't because I didn't know enough,
I just knew too much."

Hi there.

So I really liked all of these. They were awesome. My favourite was the last one. I don't have much to say because they're haikus and you can't review much of those, y'know? I thought your imagery was perfect, really captured the essence of everything.

Yours,
Lavvi
