Part 1
Amber's POV:
I spent most of the last few days of summer going to lets-get-drunk-before-school-starts partys.
So when I woke up this morning, I immediately felt light headed and very sleep deprived.
I slumped out of bed and with great difficulty, I tried to zip up my American Eagle jeans in the dark.

The room became brighter once I moved the blue curtains back from the windows.
I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth with my eyes half open.
Thirty minutes later, a blue pop-tart popped out of the toaster and was shoved into my mouth hastily.
"Aaron!" I yelled, a minute later when I felt fully woken up.
"Ten minutes, little dude!"

Then came Aaron, jumping up and down, trying to pull up his pants with the handles of his dirty book bag in his mouth.
I covered my eyes with my hand and yelled.
"Ewwwwwwww! Way to much information!"
"Come on, Amber." He laughed coming down the stairs. "Don't be such a douche bag!"

Before he could finish saying, bag, he toppled over his own feet and rolled down, one stair at a time.
When he landed at my feet I shoved a pop-tart in his mouth and laughed.
"Who's the douche bag now?"
He stood up and chewed in the pop-tart and said.

"I don't know how, but somehow, you made this happen."
I laughed with him until suddenly I asked,
"Will you turn around for a second?"
He gave me a confused look, but turned around anyway.
I stepped toward him and pulled his pants up over his red boxers.

"Oh, come on, Amber!" he said pulling them back down.
I looked at the clock and exclaimed,
"Lets go little dude! Time to got to school!"
"What am I? Four?" he mumbled as we got our book bags.
"Bye!" Aaron yelled behind him as we left.
"Goodbye, you guys." I shouted.

He got into his beat up, black Chevy that Ryan got Aaron on his sixteenth birthday.
I threw my purse and book bag into the backseat and stepped on the engine.

As I arrived at UCLA, I was greeted by a mob of girls that looked at least two years younger than me.
My ears hurt with the sound of their squeaky voices saying:
"OMG! Its Amber Fox!"
"Holy Macoroni! Can I have an autograph?"
"Oh, Amber, Amber! Who was that boy at Laguna?"
I was finally let go when I felt a grip on my arm pulling me out.

When I finally had a chance to breathe, I noticed Becca standing right next to me.
She had straightened her bright red hair and wore a blue Hollister shirt and a miniskirt with black legging underneath.
"Nice top." she said. pointing to my green Abercrombie tee.
"Thanks for getting me outta that." I smiled.
"No prob, girly!" she laughed.
"Are you still buzzed from Justin Timberlake's party, last night?" I asked.
"Yup!" she laughed.

She wasn't buzzed of course, just high on a lot of sugar.
"Let's get to class." I mumbled and lead her to Mrs.Wilken's class.
We sat down in the middle seats
Mrs.Wilken's stood up from her desk, her silver gray hair was pulled up in a messy bun.

"Greetings, class!" she smiled, kindly.
"This is your Entertainment TV Reporting class," she began.
"The Certificate in Journalism takes a holistic approach to training tomorrow’s journalists. Built on the same foundation as the Certificate in Journalism Writing, the curriculum addresses the broad range of skills needed in today’s media."

"If you aspire to be a daily reporter who files stories, blogs, tweets, posts video, and regularly appears as a commentator, this program allows you to stretch your limits. Courses prepare you for a variety of work in all formats of journalism, including print, broadcast, and digital media.

I leaned toward Becca and whispered,
"She copied that from the website..."
"Miss Amber!"
I looked up to see her crooked nose pointed to me and her eyes glistening.

"You are Mister Martin Fox's daughter, yes?"
"Yes ma'am." I answered. "And Lily's daughter, too." Mentioning my my mothers death usually softens them up.
"And is there something you two would like to share?" she glanced at Becca. How could she not have fell for that?
"Just excited to begin!" I beamed.

When Mrs. Wilkens turned around, Becca whispered,
"Holy Cow! You are a good actress."

At twelve o'clock, I meet up with Becca, Sophie, Tessa and three of my guy friends, Sean, Jackson, and Mason.
I sat between Sophie and Sean.
"I can't believe this!" Sophie pushed up her glasses, closer to her forehead.
"Yeah, that's impossible!" I said pointing to the architect book in our laps.

"How can the building stand with this structure?" she asked.
I flipped a few pages and read up on it.
"Oh! You see..."
I felt the book being knocked out of our hands.

Sean was holding the book.
"You guys read to much, this is the time to stop studying!"
"No," Sophie explained. "this is the time to get your homework done, or to study for a test."
"Okay, okay." he sighed. "So, who is this guy you were with at Laguna?" he asked changing the subject.

"Oh, yeah Amber! I saw that too!" Becca joined.
"His name is Derek Nonya." I said, taking Sophie's book back. "None ya business!"
"Come on, Amber." he said rubbing my arm. "You can tell me."
"Okay, stop. I am not telling you." I frowned. "Your creeping me out!"

I was still bugged about that for the rest of the day.
Even Mrs. Denay came up to me and asked me about it!
As I walked out into the parking lot at the end of the day, I felt the strange feeling of being watched.
But then again, I have had this feeling for over a year now, so I was used to ignoring it.
Plus, paparazzi is everywhere, all the time.

My curiosity overcame me, so I looked around.
I noticed a moving shadow in a bush.
I stepped forward.
"Amber!"

I turned around to see Becca driving up to me in her silver Mercedes Benz.
Her arm was hanging out of the window.
"Amber, seriously, who is Derek Noneya?"

I rolled my eyes and walked up to her.
"Becca, nothing happened, okay!"
She gave me a suspicious look.
"I haven't talked to him in, like, a week or something!"

"Sure, honey." she smiled. "He was the guy from your party, right?
And he was so kind to tuck you in at night." she raised her eyebrow.
"No, Becca! It's not what is sounds like, nothing happened, I swear!"
"That's not what it looks like from the magazine..."

"I was in a magazine!" I screamed.
"Chill, Amber. You've been in a magazine before."
"Becca, I am serious. He just asked me to dance, took me to my bedroom
when I rudely fell asleep outside. Then I saw him at the beach and we kissed.
A hot guy like that wouldn't want to get emotionality involved with this."
I pointed to myself

"Okay, I believe you." she sighed. "Looks like you got yourself a fine gentlemen."
she drove away laughing.
What a nutcase! I smiled.
I jumped into my Ferrari.
The day went by really quickly, but by the time I got back home I realized that I had a ton of homework.
A sigh escaped my throat as I unlocked the front doors.

I dumped my book bag at the foot of my desk and sat at the swirly blue chair.
I turned on my computer and began to type my essay.
When I was in middle school, we had to write "All About Me" reports like this one.
It annoyed me that they made us do silly, time consuming essays like this, when we could actually be doing something
productive.

5:29
My eyes opened.
OMG! I've been sleeping for nearly thirty minutes!
I picked my face up from the keys on my laptop.

I gathered my papers together and printed off some pictures.
I took out a board from under my bed and began to glue my papers and pictures together on the floor of my room,
until I heard a knock coming from my balcony.

Part 2

Aaron's POV:

I walked down the halls of La Brea high with my book bag hanging on my right shoulder.
I watched as girls stopped talking in the middle of their conversation, drop their books, or just simply stop and stare at me as I walked past them.
"Aaron!" I felt a large weight pull me down to the ground.
"What the hell? Get off, Nate!" I laughed, pushing him off.

I turned to see Destry, Asher, Justin and Luke come up to me.
"Des! Are you wearing gel?" I pointed to his black hair.
"Yeah, bro! The chicks dig it!"
"Ash!" I smiled. "Luke!"
"Hey, man." Justin punched my arm. "Long summer, huh?"
I laughed back and we walked to our lockers.

Thank God Destry's locker is right next to mine.
I shoved my book bag into my locker and Destry fallowed.
But sometimes it could be pretty...
"Hey, Babe." he said turning around.
I heard a piercing shriek.
"Des-Des!"
Of course...

I watched as Macey came up to Destry, pushed him on the locker and crushed her lips on his.
"Ugh!" I wailed.
"Seriously, bro! I don't need to see you two sucking face all day long!"
Macey gave a muffled laugh. She pulled herself off of him and whipped her light brown, purple streaked hair back.

"Your just jealous cause you don't have a girlfriend." she said in her English accent.
"Really?" I chuckled. "Maybe I don't want one, because I am better than all the girls here?"
Instead of kicking my between the legs, she kept her cool and replied,
"Maybe its because none of the girls wanna date a bad ass player."
"Ouch!" I said. "Okay, okay. Whatever sinks your boat."

She gave me the evil eyes before she broke out laughing.
I closed my locker as the bell rang.
"Come on, Mace." Destry said, taking her hand and walking down the hall.
"I love you." he said into her ear as she laid her head on his shoulder.
I rolled my eyes at them and walked toward Luke.

I felt a something push me over.
"Hey, man! What the hell?"
"I'm sorry... I'm just so stupid, I didn't mean too..."
"Why the fu-"
I saw a blond girl leaning over, picking up the books she dropped.
"Oh, jeez." I said, helping her with pick up her books. "Sorry... I mean sorry I bumped into you."

She looked up at me.
I felt like her ocean, blue-green eyes were holding me in time.
I gave her the books she dropped.
"Oh, um..." she mumbled. All of a sudden she disappeared in the crowd.

"Glad you decided to join us today, Mr. Fox." Mr. Willburn would not let me go just once.
A few girls in the middle giggled.
I heard Nate, Justin and Luke laugh loudly from the back of the class.
"Sit down Mr. Fox!" Mr.Willburn bellowed.
I sat behind Justin and between Nate and Luke.

I looked up to the front of the class and noticed the girl from the hall glance at me, but quickly turned her head back.
"Checking Analise out, huh?" Nate snorted.
"Analise?" I asked.
"Remember, the girl that just sat there at Jenn's party." Justin whispered.
"Oh, yeah..." I said.

"Okay class," he began. "I want to see your level in mathematics. Since this is a standard plus class, I don't expect all of you to get it right." he looked over at me.
On the board, Mr. Willburn wrote:
x squared, minus two x, plus one equals zero
The class groaned and began to scribble their answers on the paper.
Analise's hand immediately shot up.
"x minus one, squared."

"Oh, man! Gym was brutal!" Destry whined.
"Wimp!" Nate laughed. "So, you guys signing up football team?"
"Yeah!" Justin and Luke said in unison.
"I don't know, I'm into basketball..."

We walked into the cafeteria. The smell of man made products and moldy cheese entered my nose.
"Like they couldn't clean this dump during the summer." Nate said in disgust.
Like a swarm of bee's, Nikole, Taylor, Macey, Natalie and Alex came up to us.
Nikole and Natalie are the Sparrow twins. Nikki is Luke's girlfriend and Nat is Justin's girlfriend.
Alex is Asher's sister and Taylor is Nate's girlfriend.

We got in line, to get a strange blob of meatloaf.
"Ew!" Nat and Nikki frowned in unison.
We sat at our usual table that we sat in the years before.
"Did you hear?" Justin said, poking his meatloaf.
"Brooklyn broke up with Dustin over the summer."

Suddenly, the huge cafeteria became silent.
And that will always mean that Brooklyn and her 'cliche' has entered.
The six of them stood there like an army of soldiers, with their hands on their hips and their lips fully and evenly glossed.
I turned my head back around and rolled my eyes at them.

The clicking of their heels was the only noise.
When they walked by us, I could smell their strong perfume.
I felt a hand in my shoulder.
"Hey, baby." the sound of her voice raised the hairs on my neck.
Her pearly white teeth gently nibbled on my ear.

When she removed her hand from my shoulder and walked away I was able to breathe again.
When they sat down, the boys started whopping and the girls were cheering.
"Animals." Paris muttered from the Barbie table.
Justin punched my arm.
"Good job, dude! You got a Barbie Doll!"

A 'Barbie Doll' is what we call those types of girls in our school.
There were three groups of them. Six in the first one (Brooklyns group). Eight in the second group and Four in the third.
I looked to the Barbie table.
Macey leaned toward me, her whisper was barely audible above the loud cheers coming from our table.

"So you and Brooklyn are an item now, huh?"
Before I could answer her, she continued.
"Did she dump Dustin for you?"
"No!" I exclaimed. The table looking at me, I motioned them to lean in.

"I have no clue what happened there!"
I looked over to the Barbie Dolls.
Brooklyn's legs were crossed.
She flipped her long jet black hair over shoulder as she giggled and filed her nails.

She turned to me and waved.
I was about to wave back, until Analise caught my eye.
She was talking to Mr.Willburn.
He looked very stern as she spoke to him making big hand motions.
I turned back around.

"Wow, you made Brooklyn mad." Destry mumbled.
I stole one of his Dorito's.
"Why do you think that?" I asked.
"Look, she looks mad! What did you do?"

"He wasn't paying attention to her when she was blowing a kiss to him." Macey explained.
"You girls are weird, you probably don't even have your cootie shot!"

I walked in the halls by myself, holding my books in my hands.
I walked out of class a few minutes early to do what I always had to do at this time of day, no one except the boys could see me do this.
I walked toward my locker and fumbling to unlock it.
When I finally opened it, I reached way into the back to grab a small box and a metal container.

I hastily opened the box, letting my temptation overcome me.
I have to do this now!" I thought. I wouldn't even be able to make to the bathroom to do this.
I pulled out a small cigarette. I breathed heavily. I lite it and unhailed a smoke.
I leaned over to the side of the locker in contentment.

"Being naughty?"
The voice caught me off gaurd, I nearly dropped the cigarette.
At the end of the hall, there stood Brooklyn.
Her hands were on her hips and a mischievous smile plastered on her face.
She walked toward me, her long black hair flowed behind her, her short skirt exposing her legs and with every step was a click.

When she stood in front of me, she said.
"May I?" she leaned closer.
I gave her the cigarette with a smile.
She brought it to her lips and breathed it in.

She sighed the smoke back out and handed it to me.
"Have you done this before?" I asked.
"Never." she breathed.
She leaned even closer until we were face to face, chest to chest.

"Kiss me." she whispered, putting her hands around my neck.
I sneered and looked at her for a second more, before dropping the cigarette and kissing her.
She kissed back. She took my hands and placed them on her waist.
She let my hands travel.

I remembered that over the summer, Dustin told us that she got a breast implant.
I was about to ask her until I realized this might not be the best time to ask.
The bell rang.
Right before the doors of the classrooms opened, she separated from me and took my cigarette from the floor and threw it away with a smile.

In a second, she was lost in the crowd.

Part 3: Derek's POV

I jumped up and grabbed a honeysuckle vine.
I pulled myself up and placed my foot on the stone colomns and finally climbed up to her balcony.
She sat at her desk, her face lay on the keyboard of her Mac.
Is this her way of finding inspiration? I thought.

After a few moments, I realized that she was sleeping.
As I sat down on the cold stone balcony, I couldn't help but smile as I looked at her sleeping form.
I studied every detail of her delicate features...the way her brown hair spilled out all over her cheecks...the way her chest moved up and down with each breath...and they way she looked so innocent...despite the little fireball that I knew rested just behind those sleeping eyes.

After sitting in the cold for about thirty minutes, watching the slight smile on her perfect lips, she sat up.
I got up and walked to the glass doors.
She looked at her computer with tired eyes.
"five-thirty!" she said aloud.

She pulled her paperwork together, pulled out some papers from the printer and took out a board from under her bed.
She rubbed her eye and and covered her mouth as she yawned.
*knock knock*

She turned to me in shock but a smile soon spread across her face.
She got up and opened the door.
"Hey!" she said excitedly. "How long have you been standing in the cold?"
"A few seconds." I replied.

"Come in, come in!" she motioned to the white furniture in front of her white grand piano.
We sat down, facing each other.
"Do you want anything, tea, coffee, sweets?" she asked, picking up her coffee mug and sipping it.
I hid the snarky comment a wanted to say and chuckled.
"No, thanks. I'm fine."

"How, did you get on my balcony?" she questioned.
"I work out." I shrugged.
"I'm sure..." she smiled looking at my exposed arms.
"Aren't you cold?" she asked.

"No, Amber! I'm fine. Believe me, if I wanted something I would ask you."
Her cheeks flushed red.
"Okay, okay. I won't ask you anything." she looked up at me from behind her cup and grinned.
"So, your not cold?"

I laughed.
"No, wow. Your just like your mother."
She put the cup down.
"How did you know my mother?" she asked.

Panic crept into me. I tried my best not to show it.
"Er, yeah! Remember, we had an interview with her."
"Oh yeah." she realized.
"You have a lovely room."

"Oh, shut up!" she laughed.
"What?"
"I know you hate it, I do too."
"No, I don't hate it! Its not that bad!"

"Yeah, it is!" she argued. "Mom designed it. She wanted antique furniture. But antique furniture freaks me out, like, I can still imagine the dead person near it. So she got new furniture that looked old."
"Why don't you change it then?" I asked.

"Because, I realized that I only still living here because of Aaron. And I think he is going through a phase or something.
He is never home, and he won't tell us where he is. Hes not a kid, we can't control him anymore. He doesn't like me very much at the moment and he doesn't need me, nor, want me around for that matter. So I started looking for a new apartment. When I move, everything will be to my liking." she said proudly.

"So, you inherited your mothers genes!"
"Yep!"
Her mother was a designer, had her own magazine, newspaper and all of that kind of stuff.
"Will you play me a piece?" I asked.
"Excuse me?"

I smiled.
"Oh, I apologize. I assumed that you played the piano!"
She nodded her head.
"Yeah, yeah! Sure thing."
She sat at the piano as I stood over her, watching her hands glide threw the keys.

A lovely, soothing sound came out of her mouth.
"I've been asleep for a while now. You tucked me in just like a child now. Cause every time you hold me in your arms
I'm comfortable enough to feel your warmth.
It starts in my soul, and I lose all control, when you kiss my nose, the feelin' shows.

Cause you make me smile, baby just take your time now, holdin' me tight
Where ever, where ever, where ever you go. Where ever, where ever, where ever you go.
Where ever you go, I'll always know. Cause you make me smile, leave just for a while"

She looked up at me, biting her bottom lip.
"Wow, you have an amazing voice and your fingers, they 're so fast!" I said, baffled.
she giggled.
"So, you wanna go out for dinner?" I asked.

"Your very kind, but..." she began.
Wow, so that's how rejection feels.
"...I would rather go for a walk."
I sighed.

"Sure, I would love to!" I replied.
"I don't think anyone is home so, we can just..."
I scooped her up in my arms.
"Derek!" she squealed. I walked out into balcony once again and jumped.

Alright, so, Instead of using two POVs per chapter because that will confuse the reader, why not just give them separate chapters? That will let you give the reader everything. Now you're moving too fast to get to the next POV and I can't get a good grip on anything thats happening.

You need to also slow down and describe whats going on. You just give us fast details and you don't really expand on anything, so the reader thinks something bigger is coming, then you just switch onto the next POV with nothing.

Slow down and describe everything to clear up for the reader.

I have no idea what to put so I am writing random things. There. That should be enough.

In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort.
