So, I decided it was about time to post some pictures. These are all pretty random, and are from a couple different times.

1. Another Flower, In the Rain

2. Bernie - this is my grandparents' dog, Bernadette. She IS a girl, despite the nickname Bernie. My uncle and I call her Bernadette Peters.

3. Oh So Selective

4. Jahnoa (pronouned JAW-noah) This my little cousin. This was a complete accident- the lighting was terrible, and I was taking some pretty lame pictures for the family. The flash briefly freaked out, and this happened. My favorite from the pick. This is completely unedited. I'm probably going to play with some settings later though.

5. Watered with Glass

6. More Drops

Thanks! :)

Hmmm. Very Interesting. My first impression is that you have a very nice camera.

Photo 1: Why can nobody reach perfection? :P. Really, the only error in this is the green stem rising in the background.
Photo 2: The shadowing in this one is a little screwy. The dogs face should be shadowed so it is almost symetrical.
Photo 3:Oh lord. The rouge leaf strikes again. Thats this ones problem (the rouge leaf at the bottom left side of the flower).
Photo 4: I agree with you on this one. The lighting is terrible. Also, there are odd holes in the background that throw off this image.
Photo 5: No problems with this one. Great shot. Just a little boring.
Photo 6: I love this one. Its actually really cool. I love how close dew, reflects the stem in the background. Now if only all of the dew did this. Than this would go down in history or something. :P

You are a really talented photographer. Each picture shows emotion and feeling and the focus and light are used perfectly.
I loved the flowers, they're beautiful and the way the rain drops rest upon them is magical.
Seriously keep this up because i'd love to see more, they make me smile :)

Ahoy:] Bunny here to be a snooty art critic. *places baret atop head and glasses upon nose*
'Kay, I'm ready. ;)
Actually...I have very few issues with any of these photos. Of course, any good photography earns my appreciation as I'm stil desperately trying to figure out my own camera and I'm not much a photography person, but still! These are beautiful.

My favorite probably has to be the accidental one of your cousin. Despite what you or others may say, I love the weird lighting in this. It gives it a very intriguing composition, something almost magical. The colors in in are lovely especially with his eyes set against the all golden hues. If you decide to do any editing on that one, please don't get carried away. Maybe just some contrast to darken the background a bit and accentuate the shadows in his hair and such. It just has so much character and emotion as is, I wouldn't see the need to do too many alterations. :}

As for the others, I love the purple flowers you chose to photograph. The colors are great, especially in the first (I'm all about complementary colors), and the way you focus on the dew droplets is really great. The way the drops look remind me of Man Ray's "Tears" photo. It's a really great effect--and if you have any tips for achieving it, I'd love to be filled in. ;)

Wellp, that's my critique for ye. Not helpful in the least, I'm sure, but these are some of the best photographs I've seen on this site yet, so I figured I'd share my opinion.
Much loves,
Bunny

Hello :P
Hmm, well.
Just before I start, you seem to be taking millions of photos of flowers. I'd like to see more varied photographs. Flowers are reasonably easy to take a picture of, I mean, they don't move, you don't have to set anything up. I'd love to see some other things :)
Anyway, on with the review.
1. The green stem on this one is distracting, but the colours are good. The focus is spot on. I'm maybe not sure if having this centred completely was a brilliant idea though.
2. I love this one. The tones are lovely, and the lighting's good. I just wish I could see more of the cute little doggie :(
3. Great colours and selective focusing. Just brilliant.
4. I like this one, although the colour seems a little drained. I'd just increase the saturation a tiny bit, just to give it a bit of life. I'd probably also crop it a little.
5. My favourite. I can't fault it. Great inventive angle, superb colours and focusing. Really nice focal point. A great depth of field, just perfect. Well done!

Overall:
You know you're quite good already, so all I'm gonna say is... I'd love to see more varied photographs from you! Maybe some macro set up shots? I'll let you decide. Good job,

These pictures are incredible :) My dad's a photographer, and I'm sure these would blow him away. They're all really unique in their own way. This may sound cliche', but keep up the good work.

1. Absolutely gorgeous. I looked at this one for, like, ten minutes before moving onto the rest.

2. This is a really cute picture

3. The angle on this picture is amazing. I adore it! It made the picture look so amazing!

4. This picture looks like it could be a book or movie cover. Like, the light blanking out his mouth made me at first think that you put tape over his mouth, until I read the parahgraph above it. This is an amazing, wonderful accident.

5. This one is so beautiful. The color of the leaf/flower? looks so cool with the water droplets on it.

6. This is a really cool angle on it, and the beads of water look pretty awesome too

In my opinion I woud say that the photos you have taken are exceptional and they do the one thing that all photrography should. Display beauty in the world that most people do not notice.

Wow. I love these photos, they are amazing.
With the first one i can see the everything is in focus, the angle is good. Just awesome. Except the green line behind it. Is it the stem? I can see why that would be good to have there. But i think this picture would look even better without it.
I just adore the second photo. <3
The ones with the droplets of water are super cool. I love that effect.
You have an amazing talent.
Keep the photos coming! :D

jeeze can you please come here and photograph my wedding. those are gorgeous!!!!!!!!! (not enough exclamation marks)

so i love the wet flowers. the detail is amazing. im so intensley jealous of your camera as I have tried to capture water droplets with mine, but alas cannot bring it to that state and clarity! but I cant make myself by another camera, when photography is more a documentation then art form for me.

i loev the detail in the dog, but also how the softness is found in the photo as well.

#3 bothers me a bit becuase of hte angle. it's playing hide and go seek with that amazing center of the flower.

I like the pic of the kid, but dislike the bottom beam of light. I think that if it had some caption about child abuse and the top bit was cut off it could be awesome. also if the bottom bit was cut off it could be good as well. It would have also worked had the light extended past to creat a parellel in the background.

Yay cant wait to see more!

Wow. Awesome, cool pictures. :D They're imperfect, but it's one thing that makes something beautiful. :) Although, I agree about the stem in the first picture. I actually didn't notice it until my eye caught that part of the other review which mentioned it. lol Anyway, your post inspired me to upload some of my 'etc.' pics but, they're not really HD. Perhaps, I'll do it later, hehe. :D
