When I got out of bed the next morning and caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror, I stopped before it to look at my reflection more closely. My eyes were awfully puffy and my hair had a major bed head. God, I looked pretty bad. After a moment of trying to brush them unsuccessfully, I finally gave up and I jumped in the shower. The hot water will help me wake up and I had to say that I liked boiling hot showers. I don’t know how much time I was in the shower, but I sometime I decided to sit down in the tub. I had a major headache, something that I hadn’t realized until this particular moment, and it helped. The water falling on my head, putting pressure on it, it was like my own personal waterfall. After what seemed like an hour, I got out and dressed myself. I didn’t bother to put on any actual clothes that I liked to wear. I didn’t have the intention of leaving the house today, or all the days after this one for that matter, so simple pajamas, would do.
But when I got downstairs, Cole was sitting on one of the couches.

“Hey.” He said to me, smiling. This smile I’ve come to recognized as the cocky smile. He also had the smart ass smile and the friendly smile, which he didn't use often.

“Hi,” I said. I was caught off guard. What was he doing here? I hadn't spoke to him since Liam’s freak out... Yes, I did say hi to him when I saw him in my classes and in the hallways, and he was still hanging out with us at lunch, but somehow, I tried to take my distance. What Liam showed us freaked me out... And I was scared of him. At first, Cole didn’t realize it. He was still talking to me and tried to come to my house several time, after a few rejections though, he got the message. And that made it even more surprising.

“I was thinking that maybe you wanted to do something with me today,” he said and I noticed that he wasn’t asking a question. Clearly he wasn’t giving me a choice.

“I...” I started but got interrupted by Benjamin.

“What did I say earlier? Do you have memory problems or what? I asked you to wait outside. I don’t want you in my house,” I turned to my brother, grateful for his intervention. He smiled briefly at me and then concentrated again on Cole.

“Let’s go. Out. You can wait for her to get dressed outside. I’m sure you won’t die,” Ben was going on.

I looked at his profile, recognizing his familiar features. His blue eyes were narrowed at Cole, showing the discuss he had for him. He knew what he was, just like me, but he was certainly not as scared. This one sighed heavily and turned around to slam the door.

“Thanks,” I said to my brother. He nodded at me and then moved on to the kitchen.

“Where are mom and dad?” I asked him, raising my voice so he could hear me from the other room.

“I don’t know... They didn’t leave a note this time,” he said. His voice was muffled by the wall that separated us.

They always leave a note when they were going somewhere... This wasn’t usual behavior.

I shrugged one shoulder and climbed up the stairs. I passed through all my clothes that were not dirty and finally decided on a blue tank top (after looking out the window and seeing the bright sun) and a pair of jeans. I had joined Cole outside in a record time.

He was sitting on the curb, looking directly at Liam’s house. I sat down beside him, nudging him with my shoulder. Somehow, now that I was by his side, I wasn’t scared anymore, just like I hadn’t been scared of Liam.

“I know you know my secret. Liam told you,” he said, his voice unkind. I tried to see his features clearly but his face was turned the opposite side. He didn’t say anything, waiting for me to answer, but I had nothing to say. He finally scratched his throat, beginning to talk.

“I know he told you ugly stuff about me, but it was false. I’m not that mean and he just hates me for what I did to him even though I told him a thousand times that it was an accident,” it’s then that he turned his head and looked at me.

His eyes were starring intensely into mine, and bit by bit I got sucked inside them. An ocean of green was surrounding me and I started falling into the emptiness. Strong arms catch me and wrapped around my waist. I lifted my face to see Cole’s just before mine.

“I’m the one you want. You have to trust me. You love me,” he said, his voice soft. Suddenly, he bent down, putting his lips just inches from mine. They were slightly touching mine and it was agonizing how much I wanted them to close the small distance there were between them. I wanted him to kiss me because he was the one I loved. He was the one I wanted to be with.

“Do you love me Alicia?” Cole asked, his lips moving against mine at each word. I nodded quickly, wanting him to be done with the talking so he could finally kiss me, but then he was pushing away, releasing me.

I was now upright, still sitting on the curb with Cole, just like we hadn’t move a bit. I didn’t quite know what had just been going on.... Just that I wanted something extremely. But now it was just like I last remembered, just like nothing had ever happened, except the fact that Cole was now looking away for me. When he turned around a few minutes later, getting a glimpse of his green eyes, I thought popped up in my head. I love him. I didn’t know exactly where it came from. I wasn’t even sure if this was true. I knew how it felt to be in love. How your stomach was hurting in a good way, like butterflies flying all around in it. How your palms were getting all sweaty and how you couldn’t think straight. This was what happened when I saw Liam. It wasn’t, though, the same thing for Cole.

Nothing happened when I saw him.

“Still want to do something?” He asked, pulling me back to the present.

“Hum... Yeah, why not,” I said, still kind of dazed. Cole stood up, offering me his arm to help me. I took it, feeling the muscles flex when he pulled me. When I was on my feet I tried letting go of his arm but before I could, he had put his hand on top of mine.

He led me to his car, opening the passenger door for me and closed it when I was inside. I watched as he passed in front of the hood and opened his own door. When he was behind the wheel, he looked at me.

“What do you want to do?” He asked me.

“I have no idea. What about you?” I asked politely, regretting the choice I’ve just made. I’d rather be at home, doing nothing right now.

“I do not know, it is an awfully good day to be at the beach don’t you think?” He said. And here we go again with the language, I thought. Wait a second. Didn’t Liam tell me the other night, at the party, that Cole was incredibly old?

That must explain the weird language.

“Yeah, that would be great,” I said, putting a smile on my face to hide my discomfort. It was extremely weird to think that all these fairytale about werewolves I’ve heard when I was young were probably true. And that I was sitting beside one, right now.

“Okay, so the beach it is,” Cole said, flashing his cocky smile. And then we were gone.

Overall:

Grammar:
You really have slip ups. I mean A LOT. here's an exercise to fix that:
1) Read your book out loud, word for word. If you mess up, go back 4 sentances and resume.
2)Edit Edit Edit.
3) repeat this exercise.

Storyline/plot:
Your really confusing me. One minute shes in love with Liam the next he is in love with Cole? What????

MC/C:
Perfect. Totally 3D. Which is hard to do.

On to part 2!
