Hanging eerily way up in the sky,
casting shadows low and high,
mystical glows that chill through the bones,
sitting up there all alone.
Like a phantom ghost coming out at night,
so pale, so frightning, so very white,
watching you with it's hollow eyes,
nothing lives there, nothing survives.
Stretching across in endless white plains,
this dreadful creature has so many names,
it circles our world, it never stops moving,
the moon is a winner and we are losing.
