This was a birthday present for my mother who turned 46. The thumbs are long, I know but I had to stretch them to make it look more "heartish" ^^ Enjoy!~

This is a really nice piece.
Suggestion( i know you can't alter it,lol)
Looks realistic, but you stopped with the shadowing when it got to the thumbs.
This point of light is the bottom, right? So the inner parts of the thumb could use more sshhaaddoow.
Other than that, this is REALLY good.\

Great sketch!

Hello there. :)

This is pretty good, and you seemed to have the proportions dead on. Again, I know you can't change anything, but I can't help but think it would be more awesome if there would be more shadowing. It would definitely be more realistic, but it's still pretty good.

Keep up the good work!

Like the other's comments, this can't really be changed now, but I would have liked to see the thumbs touching. I know the shape would be a bit skewed from a normal heart, but it would have more a sense of closure and completeness. And also like they said, I would have liked to see more shading. But overall, I like this. It's clean, proportional, and with just enough lines to make it realistic but not sloppy or overdone. Something I particularly like is how the different fingers are at different angles. It adds a realness to this.

I love the details in the fingers!

But I don't like the thumbs. Not because they're to long, but because they are to bent. I'm not sure that it's possible to bend your thumb at the tip like that.

I really like this and its a sweet gift for your mother,
However I think it could of done with a little shading and I feel the wrists are a little thin.
But apart from that its truly lovely and made me smile, i've always wanted to draw something like this but wasnt able to keep my concentration and do the correct detail.
Wish I could sketch like you! :)

Happy that y'all like it. Yeah she was really happy ^^ (I added a small text to it in addition). Apparently my thumbs bend like that? XD Yeah I'm weird.

Thanks,

Just wondering...is there a reason your left hand is floating in space? You should connect the line to the edge of the paper so it's not just a floating, severed hand.

Overall this is good - better than anything that I can do.

You're missing some details though. In the wrist there is literally no detail at all and you don't have any cuticles on your fingernails.

I really like this. When I see it I imagine an old couple. I feel like the right one is female and the left one is male. The left one is male because it has a tiny bit more shadowing, and looks a little more rugged. There is not much I can say for this one, and it is almost imposible to crit it, so all I can say is great job.
